Default The Best Fighter in JY's *Less Famous* Novels

Who was the best fighter in these novels:
    1. Sword Stained with Royal Blood / Crimson Saber
    2. DOMD
    3. Book & Sword
    4. Flying Fox (let's combine those 2 novels Flying Fox novels)
    5. Ode to Gallantry

    My pick:
    1. Yuan Chengzhi's master (I forget his name)
    2. Either the Divine Dragon Sect Leader or the Heaven & Earth Society Leader (WXB's master, not the One-armed White Nun)
    3. Either CJL's master or the Head Master of Shaolin
    4. By not counting the cameo of CJL and the Red Flower Society, it is probably still Miao Renfeng. Do you think Hu Fei managed to surpass him by the end of the novel?
    5. SPT

I think the best fighter is the swordmaster from Taiwan (forgot his name), WXB's master couldn't even last more than a couple strokes with him.

I read this a long time ago, but I think the best fighter should be the bad guy, the ex Wudang guy who became a Manchu general, no ??

The one whose sword did not draw blood? I can't remember, too long time already since I read it

Do you mean that Fire Hand Judge Master Zhang? No, CJL's master practically toyed with him.

Duke of Mountain Deer was quite famous right? I'd heard that it was considered as one of JY's best novel.

i heard the one armed nun is the most powerful. no one in shaolin or the imperial guards can get near her when she attacked and ran away with WXB

I'd heard it was like the Divine Dragon Clan's leader right?

    1) Yuan Cheng Zhi's Huashan master, followed by YCZ...
    2) One armed nun, followed by Divine Dragon Island Master....
    3) Master Yuan. Refer Chapter 8.
    4) No idea but no way that Miao Ren Feng is the unbeatable under the heaven, he is even weaker than the taoist, 2nd in command in Red Flower Society.
    5) SPT.

The Taiwanese fighter was Feng Shifan - but I think he would have lost to the Divine Dragon Master. I wonder how tough Eunuch Hai would have been if Wei Xiaobao hadn't ambushed him and if he wasn't blind. He beat the Empress as easily as the One-Armed Nun did.

Miao Renfong wasn't as powerful as the Red Flower Society heroes? That sure shatters a lot of illusions about how powerful the Flying Fox heroes were, and how weak the Book and Sword people were. I know Zhao Banshan seemed completely unstoppable in Flying Fox, but I didn't think he'd be able to beat Miao Renfong or Hu Yidao.

What if Yang Tiexin lived in the in the Qing era. How would he rank?

He probably still won't look too extraordinary.

Yang Tiexin was about as good as a military captain of the Song dynasty, which means, pretty weak.
and "jump over the ocean" man is probably no.1
Burying his Dugu 9 Jian manual under an epitaph, Dugu Qiubai felt he has left his legacy for the next generation. He then moved to Shaolin to study Buddhism, sweep floors and tap elite fighters.

How far away from shore is the ship when SPT jump? "Jump over the ocean" sound pretty exagerated.

Miao Renfeng and Taoist priest Wuchen are more or less equals.

Hai Dafu was far below the One-Armed Nun. He was somewhat better than the fake Empress-Dowager, and he only managed to beat her because he trained a special type of power to counter the Empress' Bone Dissolving Palm.

Like I already said, Miao Renfeng was more or less the equal of Wuchen.

    My own list:

1 Sword Stained with Royal Blood
Mu Renqing (Yuan's master), Yuan Chengzhi, Yuzhenzi, Priest Musang

    2. DOMD
    One-Armed Nun Jiunan, Gui Xinshu

    3. Book & Sword
    Yuan Shixiao

    4. Flying Fox
    Chen Jialuo

    5. Ode to Gallantry
    Shi Potian

In Flying Fox, Miao Ren Feng was known as the Golden Buddhsit Face the unbeatable under the heaven. Did he really defeat all those great fighters to have such title?

    Crimson Saber
What about Golden Snake Warrior? He is tough also wat?

He claimed the title for himself without fighting anyone for it.
