    Heh. At first it was cool but it got real stale later. I couldn't help but root for the evil goddess whose character is definitely much more interesting than Hou Yi and Chang-e. But too bad the storyline kept true to the oldest rule of the world --- good always triumph over evil. Blah.

    Hm ... I didn't realize until recently that Chang-E's friend (the one who also loves Hou Yi) is actually Luo Shen, as in the legend that's always mentioned in the Ada Choi's "Where Legend Begin/Luo Shen"

    I just bought this series and it arrived yesterday. Havent watched it yet but will when I finish the other series i am watching. On bulletin, it says it will be release in US for viet in late Oct to early Nov. Currently it is out in vietnam with only 15 tapes.

    I flipped through the intro and looks good and depressing like how chris and Fann can't touch but through a cloth since they are fairies ---something like that

    Well, you said you found it to be cool at first.
    However, I don't even think it was cool in the beginning.

    Yep. Keypoint - AT FIRST. lol!

    It does seems to be quite nice and interesting at first but as I said, it gets stale after sometime. Seemed kind of repetitive and extremely predictable. Chang-e's and Hou Yi's characters had absolutely no depth at all. Even the evil Empress was more interesting. At least she offered viewers more kick when she started lashing out when compared to the other characters. c.c;

    The show was aired in Singapore sometime last year or this year i cant remember.
    Um, what do u people mean that it became stale towards the later part of the show?? It was an utter bore for me from episode 1. I am sure most of you have heard the legend of Chang-E and Houyi, except for the floating to the moon part, none of the story is true to what the legend is about.

    They should just change the names of the characters and name the show something else instead of totally distorting the legend.

    I used to think that Christopher Lee and Fann Wong were a perfect onscreen couple, but after the show, i think their combination is getting quite old and stale.

    Well, I didn't say in the LATER PART of the show... I just said it got stale later.

    I remembered myself getting horribly bored by the show by the time Chang-e and Hou Yi were beginning to fall in love in the mortal world. And it just gets worst from there. Ugh.

    oh well...
    basically i dont think its a show worth watching at all, even if it is shown free on the teevee. Waste of time

    Mediacorp hasn't been producing quality period drama for a long time. Recently they have been churning shows with the same formula over and over again. Its getting seriously sick and boring. With shows evolving around the same theme of family and hospitals and blah blah....

    oh i am digressing...

    anyway

    moon fairy = no good
