What term would you use for a 'chinese warrior class'? The Japanese had the Samurai and the Europians had the knight. What would be the Chinese equivalent of these classes?

Swordsmen were not. The correct one was: xia (or xia ke, daxia).

I don't think xia is a warrior class.. I don't think we have any long-lasting warrior class. Chinese culture values Wen/Civil over Wu/Martial unfortunately.
