BUT Wallace has a much larger/stronger fan base, i.e., the kind of people would actually vote in these kind of things. So of course Wallace would lead, and by a mile, in a vote.
If this was 'best actor' award, decided by a panel of judges, then fine, I wouldn't have an issue, no Wallace fan would have an issue. But the issue is, the award is called 'most popular actor'- and the method of winning the award is through voting. So when all the fans spent time (and money) voting and supporting their idol, only in the end to basically have their votes discarded, well, that's just playing the fans. And the way they were emphasizing how each vote came from the audience- well that made me cringe at their complete hypocrisy.
