aha, if I'd known him when I was young, I could say the same thing. But unfortunately, I never saw him in anything until fairly recently. Oh well, never too late, right?

I love him sooooooo much in Shao Nian Ming Bu (there's some pictures of it in the previous post) where he played Zhui Ming. So playful and charming. What was, however, very ANNOYING about the show was that every female character was in love with stupid unemotional Tie Shou who just resembled a block of wood, yet mysteriously attracted every single female on the show. GRRR!!! All the female characters must be blind... WALLACE WAS SO GORGEOUS/CUTE!

It's so sad that I had to dig this thread up from page 3! Anyway, I'm currently watching Si Da Ming Bu / The Four Detective Guards and totally concur! I'm going to sound like your echo or something, but Wallace is SO adorable and gorgeous in here. He and Rebecca make a hilarious pair with all their bickering. I'm at the part where Fu Rong takes advantage of Zhui Ming's regression back to a child's mindset and has him call her "niang." It was also funny when Wallace cross-dressed in the first case. Wallace is a natural when it comes to humor. And yet he does the serious bit so well too based on other series I've seen him in. He just impresses me more and more with his range.

Yeah, I don't know what all the girls see in Tie Shou either although I will say that Cha In Pyo has grown on me a bit because I used to just think he's really ugly from pics alone. Of course he and Wallace are not on the same map in terms of charisma and hotness. What I think is really weird and twisted is the fact that Dugu Yi Ren has the hots for Tie Shou, who is apparently a dead ringer for her deceased biological brother.

Ah, now I'm inspired to go look up Shao Nian Ming Pu to watch! I saw Wallace in Kang Xi Mi Shi and he was so fantastic in there I've been on the watch for other of his serials to see now.

I'm also looking forward very much to Wallace appearing with Huo SiYan and Sun FeiFei in the period drama Mei Gui Jiang Hu!

(And most of all, I'm not-so-secretly, if rather hopelessly, hoping that Wallace Chung will be on the short list as one of the picks for the role of Zhang Wuji in ZJZ's soon-to-be-starting-filming Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre.... I'm finding it hard to think of another person who could be more sweetly earnest and heartbreakingly sincere than Wallace Chung! )

Hi, thanks for all the pics Lady Zhuge, I'll start with Shi Da Ming Pu and perhaps try Shanghai Wang (though I'm much more of a wuxia person in general!) Hmm... not sure I'm a big fan of his look in the dancing serial, though I can't wait for Mei Gui Jiang Hu even if I'm not fond of his hairdo there... I really like his 'Qing' dynasty look most of all the pictures I've seen of him (even more than his modern shots!)

Speaking of Qing dynasty hairdos, Royal Tramp 2008 is finally airing in China! I watched the first episode yesterday and not surprisingly only the kid Wei Xiao Bao has appeared. I can't wait 'til Wallace makes his entrance as Kang Xi. He also sports the Qing pigtail in an older series called Bai Shou Feng Yun/Windstorm.

I'm currently rewatching DIF and Wallace actually has a small part in here as the younger brother of Gao Jie's dead friend (played by Zhang Yan) in the butterfly case. His acting was still kinda raw back then and he looked so young (not that he looks old now or anything, but in terms of maturity).

Thanks for the MV, you're right, it's fantastic- I agree that Kang Xi has never looked hotter, but I'm also amazed at how expressive Wallace is- mischief, laughter, anger, intense, sad, tragic... it was a lot of fun to watch in just a few minutes

I watched most of Ni Shui Han and I despise Wallace's wife in the series. She is so boring and useless. All she does is act sad and try to help when she does not know a lick of martial arts. He should have paired up with Li Xiao Ran. She was beautiful and knew martial arts, not just some pretty wooden character.

omg i LOVE this series! at first, it was my mom watching it and i sometimes tagged along but as it progressed, i discovered wallace's hotness he is SO cute in this series!!! although i prefer him without that weird mustache thingie...but anyways...this series is pretty good. sad, but definately worth a watch.
and thanks for the link to the MV! it was really good. i liked the music it matched well with the mood - their love story is so sad
