Somehow, although I love the 2 men, but I feel their roles are reversed. Huang Xiao Ming looks more fit for the king's role and Wallace fits better as Wei Xiao Bao, but who cares, what's done is done, and what is important is that we'll have another huge series of Wallace to wait impatiently for.

That's how I feel too, but I have more faith in Wallace pulling off the role of Kang Xi than HXM as WXB. It's not because I don't think HXM can act or whatnot, but I'm disappointed that casting didn't go as originally promised with an all-out search for a fresh young face. WXB is not supposed to be handsome, but on the more positive side, HXM in the role levels with all the pretty girls cast as the wives.

I found the first 4 episodes or so rather dull and too artsy for my taste, but I kept watching for Julian's sake. I'm glad I did 'cause Wallace's performance in a challenging role was great and most of the rest of the series was entertaining. I hope you enjoy it too.

Okay, so I zipped through about 30 episodes of Ni Shui Han over the weekend. I basically recorded it for my own collection, so I can view it later on. Anyway, I saw bits and pieces here and there, and I must say that Wallace was most definitely the Highlight of the entire show. He is such a bad, bad boy in here. I'm so glad he decided to take on the role as a villian instead of always going the hero, goody guy. His performance was fresh and he totally understood the character's requirement. I ended up pitying and sympathizing for him more than anyone else, 'cause he is so blinded and so filled with hatred inside.

However, I didn't enjoy the setting of the series in the desert type of scenary. Makes me so thirsty and dried out.

I love guys with Buzz cuts, especially if they have a nice head shape, which Wallace obviously has. HOT!

Did you guys watch "Secretly In Love With You"? It's a Taiwan Idol Series back in 2003 or 2004. He was paired up with Hsu Wei Lun. It was one of the few modern series he did.

Also, he did this TVB series with Athena Chu, gosh I wished I saw that, but didn't know him back then.

However, I did catch the TVB series he did and his role was a mentally challenged boy. I believe Sammi Cheng was in there too as his sister. It was a beautiful series about how a Mom had to give up 3 or 4 of her kids because she was too poor to raise them, and later tried to meet each one of them. It was a tear jerker for sure. Wallace's performance was stellar for such a new-comer. I think this series was around 1993.

YES! This is the series. It was excellent. I highly recommend people watch it if you can get your hands on it. It was very touching. The title song was sung by Sammi Cheng and it was also very well composed. I give it a 5 star series.

I like Wallace as an artist (singer and actor) because he looks for different roles and isn't worried about always looking good or be the handsome guy in the show. His performance is very strong in the show. I think I finished a tissue box watching that series.

He is definitely the Hottest Kang Xi ever casted for Mount Deer!!!

I finished Ni Shui Han yesterday, and oh my! Wallace's bad boy was simplify misunderstood. This man was confused. He wanted to rule, he wanted power, but in the end, his wife saved him and he finally awoke and realized what he really wanted in life was to have a peaceful life with her in a their little house. It's so sad when she killed herself for him and when he carried her away whispering softly, "Wan Qin, let's go home. We'll never be apart. I'm gonna bring you home to our little house." And then that stupid dude had to go and spoil it by stabbing him in the front and back. It's so sad, after he got stabbed, he still garnered up enough strength to stand back up and carry his beloved wife away. Awwww. That Song Jia actress who played his wife did a great job as well.

I found Julian and Li Xiao Ran's storyline to be a bit dry and typical. It's Wallace's role and his wife who are the main attraction in this series.

I wish they would let Wallace sing either the title or ending song, since he is also a singer. He has a nice sweet voice.

Wallace also would be perfect for the role of Guo Jing in Legend of the Condor Heros. He has that goofy look sometimes. (I'm dumbfounded by the cast of the new Legend Condor. Not a series that I'll be watching.) Hmm, who would be a good fit for Huang Rong for Wallace, had he been casted? Now that's a tough one.

Have you guys seen Wallace in 4 Detectives when he dressed up as a lady and had those red lipstick on? He was so hilarious!

I first notice Wallace in 4 Detectives, was so pi s s that every girl in there was falling for the other dude. Wallace get no one. Gotta admit, Wallace look ultra extra cute/handsome with his hair like that. Then I was totally taken by his role in Ni Shui Han. He's the hightlight of the whole serie. His semi "evil" character really make the story more interesting. Julian's role was too good and righteous for my liking
