i like this series as well. esp love that scene when maggie sang 'man jiang hung' inside the elevator kwong wah and maggie are great! melissa is not bad too!

I agree this series was hilarious. I thought it was okay, I just didn't like the ending. LOL, I love that elevator scene it was hilarious. Maggie and Kwong Wah were so funny. Melissa was okay, she was just playing the same type of character as usual.

I like the seen when he first came to the 21st centery and and used the bath tub for the first time. Theway he blocked the watter from leaking was very creative.

maggie ends up with kong wah.
melissa gets lots of other suitors.

yup, i remember that scene! maggie was too 'shy' to wear the gown so she wore it on top of her clothes right? but nothing beats the elevator scene also, how abt the scene when kwong wah proposed to melissa in the old fashioned way? when he's in the park wearing all-white? i got goosebumps there.

i think kwong wah was throwing paper airplanes while reciting.... i think the first poem in the poem series. the poem goes like this, "guan guan qiu qiow, tsai he ch zhou, yaw tiaw shu niu, jun tz hao qiow...." that's the poem if im not mistaken

From what I remmeber of this series... I really didnt' want to watch it because I thought the actors and acteress in there wasn't great... but as I continue watch it I have more respect of them.

this series is prety unique... but it wouldn't be one of the series I got to have (like buy the VCD when it comes out) and probably watch it once and that is it.

I am trying to rent King of Yesterday and Tomorrow but I don't know the Vietnamese title and the people at the rental store do not speak english... If any one could help me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
