BUT writing a new one surely requires more efforts, creativity and time than revising existing novels.

Why should JY spend another year or two brainstorming his tired old brain trying to come out with new stories when he can revise all his novels at perhaps shorter time and produce more money.

Basic business theory. The guy is a true business man.
