TVB Released VCD/DVD Questions

hello friends
i am a huge fan of Zu Mountain Saga and have watched it many years ago when it was aired in my country in a local language.
i ave been trying to find the episodes with english version or english subtitles for quite some time now.

i would be really really greatfull from the bottom of my heart to any one who can give me info or were i can get the series in english or with english subtitles.it is old but it is gold and in our hearts.

i am even member of a community where every one is searching for the english subbed version of the series.
can u remember the feeling of loving a tv series soo much and not being able to obtain it

i did find some torrents and live video but it was in mandrin and with no english subs

Hi, I only watched Zu Mountain Saga II series acted by Ekin Cheng and Nnydia Chan. So far the VCD is out and there isn't any English subtitles. (Which country are you from?)

as far as i know there are like 20 episodes with the beautiful ending of nadia chan and dead lover jumping of a cliff floating into endlessness

Not that I know of...anyway, if there's any release for Eng sub, will let u know.

Nadia Chan sang the following 2 cantonese songs during the show:

wow, this series is very old. i never watch it before but i heard is not bad. i don't think TVB got release it in vcd.

there is no english subs for this tv serie but if one of the fan group were to sub this serie then there would be one but so far nope no english subs

but how does one go about requesting any fan group to sub this series? what would it take? i know many ppl want this series very much.

well i guest u have to email them and see if they are welling to subthis since lots of pepole want to watch this, like me i would want to watch this too

I have the first and the second one and they are all in cantonese with no English subtitles or English.

When the Zu Mountain Saga was aired in your country, it was in local dub...how about the theme songs? Are they in Cantonese?

Don't be dishearten...when the DVD version is out (not confirmed yet), it will sure have English sub title...

The story continues...

The male Chinese scholar (next life of Shi Shen) sets up his stall in a busy street and prepares to sell his writings and paintings. A pretty and rich girl (next life of Yu Yingnan) was passing by the streets. She stops her sedan as she saw the male Chinese scholar's stall.

"Miss," her maid asked. "Are you buying some cosmetics?"
"I'll like to look at paintings." said the rich girl.

After browsing, the rich girl wanted to purchase a painting.

'This painting is really nice." the rich girl said. "How much does it cost?"

The male scholar was facing his back and turned to face the rich girl. The moment the two of them met face to face, both of them felt that they had ever met before.

"Who..." the male scholar thought to himself. He was stunned for a moment.

The rich girl looked at the male scholar with passion and she immediately smiled at the male scholar and seemed that she knew him. However, she knew that it was the first time both of them had met.

"Excuse me," The rich girl's maid asked the male scholar. "My Miss asked you how much does the painting cost?"
"Oh, I'm sorry." replied the male scholar. "This painting cost 10 copper coins."
"I like your paintings." said the rich girl. "I'll buy all."
"Are you serious Miss?" asked the male scholar in surprise.
"Yes." replied the rich girl.
"Thank you Miss!" said the male scholar. "Well, since you are buying all my drawings, I will give you discount!"
"Thanks." said the rich girl. "Are you new in town?"
"Yes." replied the male scholar. "I've just taken the Imperial examinations and waiting for the results."
"I see...may I...know your name?" asked the rich girl.
"My name..." replied the male scholar. "Oh, my name is..."

The maid intercepted and reminded the rich girl that her dad would scold her for talking to street strangers, especially to guys. The maid quickly drags the rich girl away. The male scholar saw what was going on and just smiled at the rich girl. While leaving, the rich girl then told the male scholar that she will come back to his stall tomorrow. Her maid then paid and collected the drawings and left with the rich girl.

well here is a list of all the fansub i found u can click on them to see which kind of dramas they subs, here's a suggestion try jiang hu or other chinese drama fan sub that u found on the site. Good luck

Which series are you looking for? You can try malmusic.com but that place is a rip and I refuse to buy there. You also have to pay canadian taxes there too. The TVB eShop use to have it, but they closed down and they were also ripping ppl off.

On the subject of Malmusic, almo, did the one in Richmond (on No. 3 Road) that got plowed down to make way for the new monorail get relocated? Or did it just fold?

It got relocated to the hidden part of Hazelbridge street because of the skytrain. Were you down here recently?
