Should Jin Yong include a release note for new editions?

If you had a choice, would you prefer JY include a "release note" for the new editions of his novels, outlining the revisions made to this new edition?

This idea is taken from software upgrades. For example, the initial version may be 1.0, and in release 1.1 it would include release notes stating what's new since the previous release.

You bet I would! However, it will be useless for me anyway, since I will still rely on translation, and whether or not the translators include the release note is up to the translators themselves
