I found that in Wikipedia (http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Alec_Su) while I was doing mi research. I don't really know how the vision thing works, but I thought 1000 was a real big number.

Different countries have different measures of nearsightedness.
And 100 degrees nearsightedness is NOT anywhere near blind in taiwan. In fact, my degree in one eye is 100-150 and I can see almost perfectly fine. But I know in other countries, they measure it like 2.5 or something.
