I'm sure they do... it's pretty easy to pick such things up from TV, especially since all the shows are American... my brother watches too much TV so he sounds more American than New Zealander, which is weird. Haha..

vanan. i've got up to episode/tape 19 on AS already, but i haven't finnished watching them all yet, barely on tape 14. ... i don't mind that side story b/w alec's dad and that other girl, the thing that DO bug me is how that girl's face is always so "blah"... hell, i get the point she's sad and depressed and all, but good god, enough is enough, her face shows nothing but that same-plain-emotionless-lifeless-like-"i'm-a-robot" emotion! it irritates me
Alec's mom i thought was really cool-- she's good! haha, i mean, she portrays the charater good: so evil, selfish, controling, aggressive, mean, eheeh and yet in a way i do feel sorry for her. so yea, i enjoy watching it----

ahahah is i just me (u know my AV self) or is it that DESPITE how they emphasizes the "love" b/w en qi n xiao tong, i just really don't see it.
I can SEE alec doing his part for the role, and cai lin acting her part for the role, but something is just missing. i don't see the connections for them. It was like::: girl meets guy, guy meets girl, they hook up... then just a half an hour later into the show, they dramatically proclaims their love for one another and can't possibly live w/o the other. aiyaaaaa it's rather hard to convince me. (btu nonetheless, alec's soooo adorable!)


oh hey, if u guys haven't seen this, it's that lil concert/show where Benny was there w/ alec as well. LOL i was cracking up sooo hard when i saw it. At one point in the show, Benny was singing "AI" (the original 3 Tigers version-- but this time, it sounded even slo--ww-er), then they jump to Alec at the same event, and Alec was singing that same song as well-- HIS version from the Earnest CD. ahahah it's funny to say, alec puts Benny to shame.
One is like the "HIp-fun-cool" Tiger, while the other is like the "old-retired-slow" Tiger. ahahaha

AHHH!!... I just finished rewatching Aegean Sea... and still couldnt help but bawl my eyes out SOOO sad ... WAHHHHH!!! *hic* I seriously still dont think CR did a good job... so I say even a decent job as Xiao Tong... she was sooo fake! just look at her smile, disgust me... sorry to say. But I'd say she's not good enough for alec... i mean her crying at the end didnt even get me emotional ... i was bawling coz of other reasons, and stoped when she started aiyeee...

lol and hien, yea i seen that clip, i find it funny how at the end, Alec has like a bunch of flowers in his hands and benny has..... ><' lol

Hey Hien, hello Good to hear from you about Aegean Sea! Yes, the actress who played En Qi's mother delivered a stellar performance. She kept me guessing what her next move was... how she played her son like a violin... it was just amazing. I hated her, for En Qi and Xiao Tong's sake... and I hated her for conspiring with Yi Qian... but I forgave her, when she gave her one and only son her blessings... and told them to go away... and let her face realities. She was a disillusioned mother, who meant well, in her own way... she had her own definitions of love, but it was overwhelming, it not only surpressed her son's emotions for years, but it also ruined Yi Qian.

About Chae Rim playing Xiao Tong... usually when it's a good series, I get swept up with the plot...to the extent that I no longer see the actors for who they really are... but as their individual characters. I thought Chae Rim gave a better performance here than she did in All About Eve...but all aside, it was amazing that they managed to deliver a convincing performance (that didn't lack chemistry) with the language barrier and all. I would've found it very difficult...to be speaking to a guy in Korean, and him answering you in Mandarin despite the fact that you know what he's saying because you've memorised his lines as well... but hearing it in a foreign language... when he's declaring his undying love, and you yours... but in totally different languages!

Tina, I'm in the Southern Hemisphere... it's Spring here. It's the opposite of America/Canada...

Chrissy, poor Chrissy... hehe.

LVG, *laughs* This series would sweep you away... and you'll be immersed in its storyline... you'll live and breathe En Qi... and cry for each one of them. You'll be reeling from its aftershock... but you'll finally understand why... why each of these had happened and why it had to happen.

eventhough i haven't been able to continue to watch the serie (cuz it's already hard as is it to even find "reasonable" amount of sleep time ) every chance i get to watch it, alec just totally lights up the screen and my mood.

haha can't help it, even my mum was like "he's so adorable/sweet!" (lol and she says that about every time she sees him haha).

d3bbie, i guess we're just not really on the same boat hehe, cuz like chrissy, i STILL dont' see anything--- even if i did try to see beyond "just" the actor/ress ... LOL i think they were better just being viewed solo-- for their own role respectively, than seen together. cai in IS stiff, and her character is rather plain to me-- too weak at times, and then all a sudden "strong-willed?" lol it kind jsut contradicts itself.. then one minute she's fine w/o en qi, the next she's all up on him. AND, ehehe i just find that rather, hmmm... jsut not convincing enuff
