As for Love in Aegean Sea, it was all right. I'm not a big fan of sad series. However, Alec is babe in there. Can't get enough of him. Anyhow, the funny thing is, instead of liking Chae Rim, I find myself liking his fiancee more. Perhaps because I pity her or something... I don't know, what about you guys?

Hiya Foreva, it is a very dependable degree so I guess it's a good thing I would do a BA and a BCom as double degrees if I didn't do my Bachelor in Speech and Language therapy... hehe. I guess I'll just have to take each step as it comes. I am currently doing Design in school now... trying to complete my last folio, etc. It's a whole lot of work and requires creativity, imagination and heaps of patience!

Good Luck Debbie. I understand how hard it is to complete your portfolio. When I was younger, and we have to complete stuff in a schedule, I hate it, because I'm such a procrastinator. But I think speech and Language Therapy sounds interesting. You like working with children? I do too. I played around with the idea of doing child psychology or education but it never went anywhere.

In regards t othe girls in TVB, yeah I have to admit the quality has gone down in recent years--even alot of the Miss Hong Kong are not very pretyy at all. To me the prettiest around is Gigi Lai--if yo uguys know her..she also has a baby face.

Michelle Reis is pretty. She's probably the only very very beautiful miss hong kong I remember. hehe, I saw the calendar someone else posted in the TVB threads with the pictures of Miss HK. I think the Miss HK is very pretty, but those two runner ups are.. .

Haha, I know, and Er Kang becoming a ghost. getting hooked onto drugs. I think she's trying to combine weepies, with a mafia theme, and throw in some aspects of fantasy and supernatural along with it.

Although I'm Anti-HZGG3.. I still like certain parts. Dong Er! He must have won the best actor award for that show. And I like Ma Yi Li's Ziwei.

Yes Sufan dear, En Qi is the name of the character Alec plays in Aegean Sea... if you dig up my posts on Aegean Sea in this thread or the Love of the Aegean Sea thread in the Taiwanese Series section, you'll get the idea as to what it is about. It was definitely very beautiful in Greece though, when they filmed! Santorini is pretty... we have a Greek restaurant here called Santorini's I haven't been to though!

No, En Qi didn't fall in love with two women... he had Xiao Tong (Chae Rim) and Yi Qian (his "fiancee") and they were both in love with him. The similarity there was Zhi Hua and Xiao Yan Zi's love for Wu Ah Ge (regardless who acts as WAG... it's the character I'm talking about)

Ruby was in Ban Shen Yuan with Patrick Tang. I would know! This is one series I was finally impressed with Ruby's acting. Sure gave me a different perspective on things! (I have seen Amor De Terapaca though)

A bit late, but Ms. LVG, Happy Halloween! Haha... were you dressed up? We're a bit too old for trick or treating, some of us... but nobody came to my door to ask for lollies either!

Coey, his fiancee.... in Aegean Sea. I must say, I found her determination amazing at the start. It was when she was very much brainwashed by En Qi's mother to pursue En Qi in a more aggressive manner that she began to degrade. It was her degradation that stopped me from really sympathising with her... she is pretty, she is rich, she has all she wants in the world except one thing -- En Qi... and if she really loved him as much as she said she did, what is wrong about letting him go knowing he wouldn't be happy with you anyway? But I guess in the end, I understood it was really all about love and passion (think Shakespeare's Othello) and it was her way... of loving him. If they could only be together only in death, then that's the only way out.

However, little did she realise that... En Qi and Xiao Tong were together even in death, because (the THEORY behind it...) his heart never stopped beating. I guess I sympathise with her... but I don't feel much for her.

Thanks Foreva In the midst of "ploughing" through the mess with my portfolio. I'm not worried about it not getting anywhere... I just hate all the rush. Then again, I do work well under pressure. Not too much a procrastinator when it comes to doing things I enjoy unlike Statistics! Haha... love working with children. *laughs* Dong Er is very cute isn't he? I must admit I enjoyed this other boy in Qing He Jue Lian (starring Wang Yan, Shui Ling) as well. I loved Qing Er in HZGGIII.... have always been a great fan of hers, but she was overshadowed by Vicki, Alec, and Ruby in the previous HZGG. Here she shone She has SUCH a peaceful looking face... and thank goodness for her wits and her analysing!

*groans* That EK becoming a ghost, getting hooked on drugs, etc. etc. was the WORST part of HZGG III! I cannot believe she devoted an entire episode to him towards the end when all I wanted was a nice, clean cut, and ending which gave a closure to the story.

nauti_ger - Suching's website is this and Alec's eye was hit by a drum stick which the drummer threw to the crowd (or something along these lines) and he was injured... hence, no pictures from his "trip" and I think that about sums it up. He is suing... and thank goodness he's OK!
