Default vB Code

I read in the vB Code help page that u can do something like this

    some text

and the text will become blue.

I try this when I want to post a message that contain some spoilers, but the text sill remain the same black color. Why is it so?

I think this function is very useful. People who want to post spoilers can post in a lighter color so that others who don't know the plot beforehand won't accidentally read it.

    Kidd,

I believe SC disabled that coloring feature, for what reason? I don't know.

But I think you can still make "Spoiler" in bold or italics or underline and it'll still draw attention to ppl who don't want to read spoilers and such.

The reason I want color fonts is not to draw attention but to avoid attention.

Evn though I put "Spoiler" on top of my post, when viewers scroll down, they can still catch a glimpse of the content. I want color font to make the content lighter (e.g. in gray or white color) so that people will not accidentally catch a glimpse of it. People who want to know the spoiler can highlight the text to read it.

That's what most people do in other forums. Some forums even have
tag specifically for users to hide spoiler.

Hmmm ... you could put in Bold and/or Italics an "END OF SPOILER" at then end of your spoiler. This way, when people scroll down, they'll know when the spoiler ends, and then continue reading from there.
