No since WD2 is more about Zhang Wu Ji (Wu Jing).

3 women in the story who all liked him. One is his disciple "brother" who is really a Japanese girl hiding in China. Second is an assassin. Third is a Ming princess. ZWJ actually loved the assassin but she was raped by his martial arts rival and married him. His "brother" the Japanese girl fell in love with ZWJ's sworn brother and that brother also raped the girl to ensure the girl really give up on ZWJ.

ZWJ did not like the princess for a long time because she was very bratty and spoiled. But he was very touched by her efforts time and time again to aid him and learned to love her. He gave up his love for the assassin since she is now a married woman and married the princess.

The Japanese girl ended up serving Chang San Feng as his maid, the assassin was killed by ZWJ's rival in an accident when she took a blow directed at ZWJ.
The princess bore ZWJ a son shortly after he died of an incurable illness. The son became a disciple of Chang San Feng.

I was told that this series was based on a novel. WD2 is much better that WD1 since it has Wu Jing who is cute, can fight, and can act. But still, not quite there. Lots of CGI.

My advice is to get Wu Jing's Tai Chi Master series instead. It is one of the best "real" martial arts series you can get.

I just saw the first 2 episodes. It talks about the lost sword that was supposedly given to the emperor. Is that what the whole story is about? The lost sword?

The swords is a bit like HSDS in that you need swords to break one up to reveal a treasure map. The bad guys (Japanese) want the map for the treasure to buy arms to fight in Japan. The father of the assassin is actually a Mongol who was part of the royal family overthrown by the Ming Dynasty. They all plotted to kill the Ming Emporer.

LOL Both were good looking. Even the Japanese girl's pretty too.
Frankly I'd rate WD2 as ok only and WD1 as crap. But this is still not Wu Jing's good series. His best is still the Tai Chi Master, no CGI bullshit.

Problem is this is the direction that all China produced series is taking. And because CGI is so expensive it is affecting a cheap overall look as producers need to cut down budget on sets and number of extras as the budget is all spend on CGI.

i just finished watching disc 2 of wudang 2 and i'm liking it a lot, mainly because the princess is so cute and pretty. i love her character. can anyone tell me if they will be any cute scenes or sweet scenes between her and wu jing? at first i was rooting for wu jing to hooking up with monica, but after watching the first two eps. i want him to hook up with the princess instead. please tell me more about wujing and the princess, as well as the girl who plays the princess. thanks.

Yes..around disc 7, I think (not sure though) when the princess asks Wu Ji to sleep with him just for a night...
