She's very favoured by TVB...why do u think she got so many juicy lead roles despite not being able to act properly? It seems like the HK audience like Charmaine alot more than GG...probably because of the better and nicer roles Charmaine always portrays.

BTW, i think GG is a much better actress than Charmaine..I watched half of DOP and GG's role was tons more challenging that Charmaine's. Charmaine's role in DOP was pretty flat..her typical type of sweety, kind-hearted type of character..in fact i thought her character in WAB was more challenging and required more acting.

haha, true. But it's not just the HK audience. I've noticed that most people tend to prefer the kind and innocent character over the bold and more mature character in general. I personally find the former too played out and boring to watch, but it seems like that's what a lot of people enjoy viewing.

I agree that GG is a better actress also. I don't find her excellent, but compared to Charmaine, I feel she's a lot more qualified. Still can't get over the fact that Charmaine took home 2 awards this year (favorite AND best actress). I guess that just further goes to prove how much value TVB's awards are actually worth. It's no wonder why so many of their excellent casts have quitted. The ones who cannot act are constantly being promoted, whereas the ones who can act are hardly recognized and usually go home unrewarded. It's quite sad to see how TVB is degrading their actors and actresses like this. I really wish they could produce better series in the future the way they used to, but with all the new young faces who are so inexperienced, it's hard for me to picture that happening.

I remember when GG got the popularity or was it best actress award for WAB 2 yrs ago, sooo many Charmaine fans were dissing and slamming TVB for being biased and backing GG up, claiming tt Charmaine deserved the award more thn her and all tt crap, they even picked on things like GG's breathing in WAB and all that nonsense...but at least GG only won 1 award and she can actually act...

Sigh, that probably explains why I gave up on TVB serials sometime ago..how not to when all the good serials have Charmaine as lead?

The song is sang by Vivian Hsu called "Ai Xiao De Yan Jing". As much as I like GG and Bowie's chemistry, I didnt like their relationship in DOP. I prefer them in WAB.
