does anyone else have trouble downloading episodes 16-40 from that website?
This serial has 4 leading ladies, right?
The blue one, Joey Meng.
The white one, Sheren Tang,
The red one, Kiki Sheung,
The yellow one....(don't know her name.)
Can anyone refresh my memory, I don't remember what the storyline was. I only remember the great songs, how they sang in a bar, Kwong Wa was the saxophone player, and their was a difficulty in Kiki's love relationship.
I also remember that they hung out in their make-up/dressing room a lot. Their cases of make up were huge, too!
WU ZUN ! <3
haha it's been quite sometime since i've last seen the show but this is how i remembered the characters
White (Sheren Tang) - Bak Siew Tip. Her father sings at the opera. And she herself love singing. Was the cheerfula nd innocent one in the group of 4. After winning the second place in a singing competition, she went and work as a singer in the nite club (forgotten the name lar), under the apprenticeship of Bak Long. Had a romantic relationship with Kwong Wah.
Blue (Joey Meng)- Lam Fung Ping. The only daughter of a herbal shop owner. Her mother died when she was young. The first out of the three to befriend siew tip. Was not able to join the singing competition cause her father does not allow her to. But later on got an audition with the help of Siew Tip and works in the nite club. I'll say she's the tragic one in this show. Kwong Wah's band buddy Danny knew her from there.
Red (Kiki Sheung)- Nancy Hoong Lin Sai. An orphan who met Siew Tip in the singing competition. Wild and stubborn in nature. Has a sister who was adopted by a rich woman. Met a sailor lateron from a club she was singing in
Yellow - kenot remember her name. A child singer. The most cheerful and optimistic one in the group. Likes the owner's son of the nite club (who has a big crush on Siew Tip)
the yellow one is called gum lu lu...i think...
The other female lead is Erica Choi (Hiu Yee). She's not as popular as Joey, but she's still one of ATV's top ladies.
ooh ya gum lulu is the yellow one....
ericca choi?? realdeal so you mean gum lulu is ericca choi??
Yeah, I do mean that. Erica Choi was the cheerful, talkative and sometimes crazy Lulu in "I Have A Date with Spring".
anyone have a sypnosis?
i would like to see this, heard very many good things about it but sad ending?

For me this series feels somewhat unique. I think its 'cos there aren't enough series out there like this one with the same genre.
There are a lot of things in this series that are memorable to me like the characters and their singing, their everlasting friendship, the story and that beautiful theme song.
Have you learned to love one another?
I still remember this series !!! Especially the songs in the series. My saddest moment was when Fung Ping died in Vietnam. Sigh, all those sacrfices she made for a guy like that..Originally Posted by Bubblegum
Gosh I remember watching this series years ago and crying so much when the blue girl (Joey) died. I was sooooo very glad that the yellow girl had a happy ending though, cuz she was my fav.
Does anyone know if the girls were the true singers in here?
How come most 江湖 (jiānghú) wanderers never worry about money? I wonder how a 大俠 (dàxiá) make a living...does meddling in people's business and righting wrongs pay well?
I was crying too when Fung Ping died
Siew Tip and Fung Ping are my favourite characters. But I won't forget what happened to Fung Ping.
