Well . . . I don't recall what every one's names are so the colors are all I can use to identify them
How come most 江湖 (jiānghú) wanderers never worry about money? I wonder how a 大俠 (dàxiá) make a living...does meddling in people's business and righting wrongs pay well?
does anyone know what's the title in vietnamese?
Yes, I'd also like to know the Vietnamese title. Also, is there anywhere we can get dubbed in Vietnamese?

I don't think it's out on dvd's. I watched it on video tapes since I was 11 years old. It's a pretty old series. But enjoyable as always.

i've seen this film a very long time ago, i liked it too. there was this other lady in there that i absoultely loved, it was their 'mummy'. the lady that looked after them in the club, she was so funny and my favorite character, wonder if anyone's got a pic of hers?
they made a play version of this, it talks about afterwards, when Sheren returned from Canada in her old age, the club was going to be pulled down and she came to remember about her friends. it was very funny too. i think they sell it on yesasia, its like a movie, very short but heard a lot of good things about it.
does any1 knows where i can dl the songs from the series??? i really love all the songs in there thanks....
I haven't seen this series yet but I plan to someday. I've read that Joey Meng's character becomes pregnant and has a baby in this series. Was the actual birth scene shown (not gross stuff just did Joey act out the birth)?
nope...they didnt show fung ping(joey's character) giving birth...
i loved this series.
fung ping was my fav character even though she had the most tragic storyline
i loved when she sang wang bu liao....
every one thought she had abortion so was surprised when the kid showed up.
the endings shocking, didnt like it...couldnt tell whether they got back together.
kwong wah wasnt nice to leave sheren like that and look after the other chick instead, when he loved sheren.
i cried so much watching this series, especially during the ending.
i have most of the songs but not on computer, i would have to find them and upload them... if my computer lets me!!!
except i dont have the saxophone song anywhere that was a nice song!
i think this serie is soo sad
n i used to like da song
Hi every one,
I am a fan of chinese TV series and I buy them b'cos it is hard for me to rent.
I have watched the movie but am interested in the series.
Was wondering if it is worth buying the vcds as it is around US $70.00
I am from OZ land.
If anyone has the vcds : could you tell me if it is cut or the full version and the vcds are clear such as the quality?
Would appreciate your view on them.
cheers

Wow, there is a movie, isn't there? Where are you planning to buy the series from? I like buying off yesasia, but $74.49 is a very steep price but at least you get free shipping and handling w/ it. If you wait awhile, most time, after a while, yesasia would place series 50% off. I always wait till they have a sale to buy my series, but that's up to you of course. As for the quality of the the vcd's, I can't say cuz haven't bought this series (yet).
By the By, does anyone know where I could find the soundtrack or some songs from this series? And did the respective actresses really sing them? I love Joey's song best, I think.

I saw this in some CB.
Since you guys said it's recommended, I'll get some and see how it is.
Oh, I love the songs too!
Wonder where I can get them... ^^
I've recorded a quite blurry Cantonese one when I was listening to the online radio.
I think there is a Mandarin version too.
I love both!
They just give you the nostalgic feeling.
Old songs are just superb.
just started to watch this series again...for the millionth time. still as good as the first time! i'd definitely recommend it to everyone!

Does anyone know where I can get the rest of the series?
