But didn't Houston win 2 championships with that team? or at least with Drexler, Barkley and Olajuwon.

The first Houston championship was with the lineup of Olajuwon, Thorpe, Horry, Smith, Maxwell. Drexler was part of the second championship. Barkley, sadly, never got to win the title in his career. He joined the Rockets after their mid 90's glory days.

Default 2005-2005 Pre-Season ALL NBA LOSER TEAM

It's time to name the NBA's ALL NBA LOSER TEAM prior to the commencement of the 2004-05 season, and we'll see if that person has kept thier spot by the conculsion of the season.

2005-2005 Pre-Season ALL NBA LOSER TEAM

PG. Gary Payton - The loser played poorly, whined about his shots and playing time, gave away the only shot he had of winning a Championship through his selfishness. Knew that no one was going to give him a better contract and decided to stay a Laker. Then Lakers traded him, comes out all guns blazing about how he was loyal to the Lakers, and wouldn't play for Boston... Fact is if GP could have earned more in FA he would have left the Lakers before the trade... Also no other team wants GP so he has to stay Boston. Most recently, he comes out stating that "there are more important things than winning a championship".... Well said, by the Biggest Loser of all time... Obviously he meant, getting more points, and shots, and looking good = more important than championship. Typical "selfish" attitude. Just ask Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, and Karl Malone what a championship would mean to them.

Backup PG - Stephon Marbury, except for the last couple of games, had his colours lowered in the Olympics by lesser quality PGs.

SG. Kobe Bryant - Nothing more needs to be said about this fellow. He's an "alleged rapist", and a total "snitch" on his teammates. Cheats on his wife, and pretends his a all round "good guy". In an attempt to prove that he is the next MJ, he got the tied NBA most winningest NBA Championship sacked... Wanted an unproven college coach to coach him. Got the MDE traded. Stated in the media that he had nothing to do with getting rid of Shaq. Something Laker insiders, including Phil Jackson, know was not true. That Kobe wanted Shaq to go... Even Pat Riley knew this, that's why he asked for the Shaq trade. Snitches on his teammate and then talks about how Shaq was not "loyal" to him... Final word = We can't trust Kobe Bryant's words and the loser will fall way short of MJ. He will win 0 championships by himself, LA had better hope to pick up another All-Star in the future.

Backup SG - Vince Cater, the yo yo, "I'm happy with Raptors", then "I'm not happy", then, "I'm happy", and then, "I'm not happy". Has he made up his mind yet? Or his 3 year old child's play to attention grabing stunt over yet??

SF. Carmelo Anthony - Nickname is "Melo", but he is anything but. You got to see his "darkerside" at the Olympics. That sad face of his on the bench just makes me laugh. Plus trying to force Nuggets management to stick with some loser player friend of his, not because of his skills, not because of his abilities, but because he was a friend of "Melo". Hey "Melo", I used to play highschool ball, can I be your friend so you can get me on the Nuggets team?? Not mentioning the fact that his friend is a loser, and a bad egg... Melo = Mellon Head. I pick him to have a poor 2004-05.

Backup SF - Grant Hill, just retire mate and save us and the Orlando Magic fans from dreaming that he's 100% fit.

PF. Carlos Bozer - "Bozer" rymes with" Loser", so enough said here. Stated that he couldn't make an NBA All-Star team in the East or with the Cavs. So decided to move to the West instead. So move aside, Tim Duncan, KG, Webber, Nowtski, Brand, and K-Mart... Bozer is coming through.... Went back on a mutual handshake, and thus broke the silent player's code of trust.

Backup PF - Kenyon Martin, Why's there a need to sucker punch Nene??

    C. Zach Randolph - There are no loser centres this pre-season, but Zach can play there standing at 6'10. So why not choose him here?? Hangs around a loser crowd, and nearly getting himself locked up for god knows what?? Gives management and coaches a nightmare as a result, and refuse to admit that he was in the wrong...

Backup C - Kevin Garnett, same goes with Zach, at 7'0 KG can play at C in my team. Besides true Cs are lacking in the NBA these days. KG why was there ever a need for an All-star like him to sucker punch fellow teammates of his in practice...

Coach: Larry Brown - Won NBA Champsion with the Pistons and would have avoided this had he won Gold at the Olympics. Regardless of everything the USA losing 3 games and winning only Bronze at the Olympics should not be tolerated by any baskteball fan... He's style of "praying, begging, and hoping" opposing players to miss "wide open" looks may work in the NBA, and may be considered as "tough defense" in the NBA. But on the international arena, it's considered as "weak" and "primary school" defense. Thus the USA lost... Well done Brown (though players also to blame).

Backup - Coach K - Turned down an opportunity to show us what he's about, but stayed in his "little pond pool". Prehaps he's afraid that he'll be proven to have a 'hollow' reputation.

General Manager - Mitch Kupchak - Enough said. See Jerry Buss comments below.

Backup, John Paxson. He should be blamed for the Carlos Boozer saga. Coming up with such a dodgy deal that fell through.

Owner: Bruce Ratner - Do I need to say more?? Destroyed the team that went to two NBA Finals. TRaded and refused to max out an All-Star PF and Maxed out a potential SF. Got rid of his best players for nothing.... If you want to save money, then don't get into Sports for gods sake....

Backup Owner, Jerry Buss. Prefers dodgy dude in Kobe Bryant over Shaq... In the past fe years he's gotten rid of Jerry West, Phil Jackson and now Shaq, so LA are now destined for a decade of losing baskteball.

    Summary:

    ALL NBA LOSER TEAM:

    PG. Gary Payton
    SG. Kobe Bryant
    SF. Carmelo Anthony
    PF. Carlos Boozer
    C. Zach Randolph

    Coach. Larry Brown
    GM. Mitch Kupchak
    Onwer. Bruce Ratner

We all know you hate Kobe and the rest of the Lakers. But for a 'fan' that jumped ship the moment things turned bad aka bandwagoner, talk smack about my team all you want. Also pretend you've been a Heat all along. If the Lakers are in for a decade of losing basketball, I would still cheer for them.

Just some random points to add.

Shaq is a damn fine player, but you don't pay an aging big man (with injury problems and poor work ethic) 75% of your cap.

Boozer did what's best for him and his family, he got paid. If he went down with a career ending injury would the Cavs show him any loyalty? I don't blame the man for providing for his family and the generations after him.

Coach K: You're telling the man to leave the area he's lived and worked in for a very long time, leaving his children + grandchildren behind for what? He wasn't gonna get paid much more working for the Lakers, he's got himself a nice endorsement deal. Lakers situation was in the air, he could have possibly coached a team without Kobe or Shaq.

    G. Hill he's alway in rehab and trying to get back onto the court. I can respect him for that, he could have retire long ago and still collect his fat paycheck. Hope he can come back and just play a full season.

the issue on kobe and shaq is between what type of players the person likes.
teamplayer and wants to see a "maybe" championship for atleast 1+ years and then the team just breaks down like the bulls then Shaq is the answer. but lucky for heat they have D.Wade.

For someone thats explosive and can continue to do so then go with Kobe. He is stable for atleast 7 more years or so. and maybe in the future hope for someone that kobe can share the ball with. Odem and the rest of the players in Lakers isnt bad. they might go somewhere.

as for the heats, they have got a good choice with shaq cus if even shaq is out they have Wade.

i think Larry Brown did an O.K job on his USA team cus of the lack of teamplayers and time to work with the guys. i would not say his method of praying is right. his team is the best defence team in the NBA. if you talk about Coaches talk about phil Jackson, leaving everytime when a team is breaking down and causing even more problems for the team. exmp; bulls and lakers. Phil Jackson is the same as how you describe Larry Brown but on offence. he just prays and hopes the ball goes to M.J and eventually the ball goes into the hole. As you know his triangle defence is the most well know defence in the NBA, y? because thats all he do just work on D and M.J will be the only offence. same on lakers shaq and kobe. dont take this personal cus i'm just pointing out some interesting things that may not be fact.

I hate the Lakers, but the ALL NBA Loser Team I chose is not based on hate but logic. Like Jerry Buss is only a back up to Bruce Ratner + only 4 Lakers or ex-Laker featured out of 10. If we put up a pole that asked - "Is Kobe Bryant a Loser", then I bet you the majority of responses would be "Yes". Because in one way or another he is. No denying that fact....

Also with your comment about me jumping ship - I never did... I have told you many times that I've cheered and back Shaq ever since he was in the NBA. So I have been a Magic fan, Laker fan, and now Heat fan because Shaq is there?? So how have I jumped ship? I've always been loyal to Shaq and will continue to be.

Is Kobe Bryant a loser? On or off the court? I'll be the first to admit, he's not one of my favorites guys off the court, but I can respect him for what he does on it.

He's a basketball player rate him on his ability to play basketball, not for being a person. MJ, KG, Pip, Magic, Bird, Malone etc. They weren't all likable on and off the court but when I'm watching a game, I could care less.

I used to tell people on and off the court are all inter-connected. If you're a loser off court, then you're more than likely to behave like a self-fish loser on it as well....

Also off court dramas affect one's ability to take to the court and play. Kobe could have been put in jail for what he did, then there's no more Kobe on the court to respect would there?...

Nothing more displeasing then to watch a player refuse to take shots in a game just to prove how important to the team he is or to see a player refuse to pass the ball just because he wants to win a Finals MVP and have the attitude of "Well if I don't get the Finals MVP, then I'll go without the Championship!", can't wait for Phil Jackson's book to come out on this regard....

Kobe could have been put in jail for what he did
What he did? Were you in the room that night? He was accused of rape. Don't label him a rapist because he was accused. Was he ever convicted of the crime?

You've made up your mind on Kobe a long time ago. Wouldn't have mattered whether Phil's book bashed him or praised him. You would still hate the guy.

You want to list negatives about players, everyone one has them. Even your boy Shaq.

Cool man i might join 2 but i now close 2 $hit about these fantasy leagues

Long I understand that u hate KB but man come on let it go. Its been 4 months already. Yeah i hate KB for doing some dumb stuff like messing up my perfect LA team and i seriously would have traded KB before shaq but u know.........let it go man. Its been like 5 month already.

Backup C - Kevin Garnett, same goes with Zach, at 7'0 KG can play at C in my team. Besides true Cs are lacking in the NBA these days. KG why was there ever a need for an All-star like him to sucker punch fellow teammates of his in practice...
K mart should be on your list as well then. And u do know shaq almost did the same thing 2 KB right?

Nickname is "Melo", but he is anything but. You got to see his "darkerside" at the Olympics.
I love Carmelo's personality. Hes real. Some guy spit on his girl friends face and he went 3 on 1 no bodyguards or anything. But yeah he was some what childish hes only 20 or 21 though give him some time. Before he turned 28 people said MJ would never be as great as bird or magic.

Hangs around a loser crowd, and nearly getting himself locked up for god knows what?? Gives management and coaches a nightmare as a result, and refuse to admit that he was in the wrong...
He's bro was involved in a shooting and he risked jail time instead of ratting him out. You wouldnt have done the same?
wow..04-08....4 years just like that..time flies..
