Basketball is the second most exciting indoor sport, and the other one shouldn't have spectators.
Yeah according to Jim Gray, the sideline commentator, Artest got the wrong guy. The guy who threw the drink at him was the one wearing the BWallace jersey but who knows, maybe the guy Artest went after was the one who talked the most. The guy wearing the jersey also pulled Artest back and pulled him in the head twice too. I dont expect a huge lawsuit though, i doubt Artest would lose more money than he will from being suspended indefinitely.Originally Posted by TrieuTuLong

Obviously Stern must have read my letter in giving Ben Wallace 5 games suspension... But honestly his "lady like" behaviour should have costed him 82 games. He was the main culprit behind the incident, and deserved to be punished heavily... What Ron Artest did to floor fans to was 'protect' himself.Originally Posted by spooks

Before I thought some Yanks fans were little nuts Piston fans are crazy...
And like someone said, the guy who return the first punch usually get the most trouble and even if it was Big Ben who started it, Artest got the worst of it because he couldn't control his temper.
I guess now Artest can be a full time music producer... that is what he always wanted.
There goes the Pacers dream of championship.
I wonder if the Pacers organization is going to appeal for this.

Sorry the suspension I posted yesterday from Fox are incorrect.
Real ones are. Artest gone for the year, SJax for 30, JO for 25 and Ben for 6.

They should ban the fans that was brawlling too![]()

Do you know if that includes playoffs? I mean Artest's case.Originally Posted by spooks

Yes, he's done. Now, he doesn't have to worry about taking days off to promote his rap album anymore. Honestly, I think the suspension is little too stiff for Artest. The NBA should resconsider this, and put themselves in Artest's shoe at that night. He was out of line, of coures, but so were the Pistons fans. This is gonna hurt the Pacers the most.Originally Posted by douggilmour

In a MAN's game they're letting someone how behaves like a "lady" lightly off the hook, and punishes the MAN who behaves like a MAN??![]()
I guess Joe Dumars, will now be looking to sign Lauren Jackson or Lisa Leslie to cover for Ben Wallace while "she's" serving her 6 game suspension.
Sounds like the kinda move that the "Bad Girls" of Motor Town would make.

This is such bullshit. The NBA is a joke. Why don't they clear the detriot arenas for a few games too. Or at the very least, the premium floor seats?
In basball, some guy threw a chair at a fan, got 12 games or some shit out of a 180 game season. Artest hit a fan for throwing shit at him, and is baned for a season.
Hell, back in 95, Vernon Maxwell got 10 games for beating up a fan for heckling him. Sprewell got like 15 games for choking his coach or some shit like that.
Might have to sue the NBA for thier harsh ruling and costing me some "fantasy points" in my other league. I now have both JO and Artest on my list...
Also on another note Lauren Jackson has indicated that she's able to fill the starting C role, for the Pistons...![]()
She's much bigger and tougher than Ben Wallace and Antonio McDyess combined... What's more she lives in Canberra, Australia too![]()

Isn't the collective bargaining agreement up for renewal up for renewal after this year also? I forsee another strike.
I don't even like Basketball, it's pretty boring, and this doesn't make me want to watch it at all.
Unlike you, I like basketball... But I know what you mean... I'm starting to lose interest in the game...Originally Posted by Demitre

I've heard word that Lisa Leslie has declared an interest in playing for the Pistons also... All Joe Dumars needs to do is to call her...

In reality, if they did merge, the nba would be the same and, wnba players would be the new floor wipers........Originally Posted by Long

It's only joke there, but I see only at most 5-10 wnba players making it and they would be on the bench. OR start for the BULLS.
let's make a bet then. If the pacers can get into the playoffs, i will eat my mousepad.Originally Posted by douggilmour
