Yeah the movie was confusing and pretty pointless. Although Cecilia looked compellingly beautiful as Dawn.

Tsui Hak is definitely past his peak, but he did make some of the greatest movies in HK movie industry, such as Peking Opera Blues and Swordsman II.

I wonder how it'll do in theatres when it comes out in America?

I believe this movie had already came out in America and it didn't do so well... The graphic is nice but the story line just stink!!!

I heard that Miramax is enhancing the special effects before it hits the theatres so it doesn't look cheap compared to American films but I don't think it'll do well.

I think it'll be tough to promote an Asian Sci-fi movie in Hollywood. It's worse than promoting a Hollywood kung-fu flick in Asia. Like... a CTHD with Russell Crowe as Li MuBai.

You do got a point. Most people in America only watch Asian films for the martial arts and nothing else.

Oh I didn't know that. I didn't see it at Best Buy or Blockbuster.

Thought Miramax decided to scrap it since the movie bombed in other foreign countries.

Once again, Miramax has announced to release this on DVD. It's been 5 years yet Miramax can't decide what to do with this movie.

Only $7?! I paid $10.50 for the VCD but that was two years ago.

I spented twelve dollars. Me and my friend splitted the cash. But that was four years ago.

Actually, Miramax only decided to release 'The Legend of Zu'/'Zu Warriors' after Disney 'booted' the Weinstein brothers from the company. For whatever reason, they'd refused to release the film in any format -- theatrical or DVD.

Well, we're very likely to see a new Miramax now that they're gone...
