I only felt sad that they didn't torture her more! She died too quickly and not painfully enough.

I thought her brother should have let her slowly die from the poison instead. He ruined the most enjoyable part.

I finally finished watching it. I agree that Gum ding should have died in torture. uhhh...I felt so sorry for Lei Fa for always being blamed and stuff ugggg... Anyways, I don't think Lei Fa should have gone back to her husband at the end, besides, it's really hard to live with someone when that person doesn't trust you.

I agree with you 100%, they should have dedicated a whole episode to torturing her! and another for Ding San and the rest of the Sit family to ask for her apology. They had it too easy.

that's the storyline. Everyone is SUPPOSE to be treating Lady Fan "badly".

o hey, so im on like episode 10, it stops just where uhh the family blamed jessica for putting poison in the soup. but yea, its driving me crzay to wait for it to release it viet. i have a question for people who watch this in chinese. how do you guys get your series? do u get the episodes on tapes or vcds, or what? and also, do u have to wait one week for a certain number of series/episodes to come out, or do they release the whole thing when it's out? thanks. anyways, where is the cherie, she went to see her brother? it doesnt make sense cuz she just goes there and they talk. lol. jeesh

Hey there everyone!!!

I just finished watching this weeks tapes. hehe, so glad they released out 4 tapes, but I wanted more!! So right now on tape 6 and so many things happened!!!

So far I think my favorite characters would be Jessica, of course Power Chan and the actor who plays Jessica's brother. Not Edmond. Anyways I've seen him in numerous serials, don't know his name though!!! Do you guys know?

Oh gosh, I found it hilarious how Power is Jessica's son now. Its really funny to watch how the two talk to each other sicne Power has to be all mannered and call her mom. LOL, funnier seeing him call Joe dad!!! My mom was telling me how this serial is an actual event in history or something and she kept on complimenting how great Power's character was and all!!!

Argh, the characters I hate most would be practically the whole Sit family, but Mimi in particular. At least at the moment!!! How she keeps starting all these troubles jsut because she "sees" Jessica doing something "evil" like having an affair with Power or trying to poisin the family in the broth!!! Argh, I was going to hit the tv when Mimi sorta framed Jessica for the broth poisoning thing!!! :bash:

Anyways all I've gotta say now Can't wait to see more. I was told there is a happy ending for Jessica and Joe right? All I can say is from what I'm seeing, I rather Jessica have a bad ending or just be single in the end!!!

hey there. lol, yea i felt so bad for jessica. i nearly cried when joe threw her bowl of soup on the floor. =) jeesh, that was so sad what she went through. im glad she walked out. i was really touched at the part where the funny old guy tells her not to give up and shes like im not, and shes just like, i've been in the kitchen all day, and im really hungary. i felt so touched by that, she has so much patience. go lei fa.

and yea, i dont know why they make the sit family all so thick headed and unreasonable. jeesh. except the dad, so far, at least he seems to be a bit reasonable, but that is sad how he HARDLY speaks up for jessica. and the mom is just unfit. shes not even a good looking woman. hehe.

o yea, i cant believe that cherie girl is going to be evil in a way. g0sh, o well.

goddess, you'll grow to like Mimi later on, she's the first one of the Sit member who acts nice to Lei Fa and supports Lei Fa till the end.

I still haven't got any news of the DVD version for sale, pls tell me if there is, thx.
