She isn't fragrant. She's just less smellier than the ancient people who doesnt bath that often. She baths more frequently, that's why she doesnt smell that badly, and is thought to emit a fragrance.

I think she carried those fragrant pouches.
"Heung Long". Kinda like Chor Lau Heung.
She did eat flowers and bathe in flowers.
"You are what you eat."

JY's novel-wise, assuming anything is possible with fiction <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> I will have to agree that Princess Fragrance is probably the most beautiful.
Guo Jing > Yang Guo. Book it, you morons!
I think it's xiao long nu. She's so pretty and cute.

I think the most beautiful female jin yong character would have to be Wang Yuyan. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> Remember, Duan Yu fell in love with a marble statue that resembles her. If cold, lifeless marble could arouse such deep devotion from a guy, and this marble statue looks exactly like Wang Yuyan, then Wang Yuyan must be heavenly. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Oh, but Duan Yu was such a ? what-mat-call-it, he fell in love with so many girls before he saw WYY.
I wouldn't particually call it love as what Duan Yu felt for those other girls. I think it was more of a strong liking, but it was diffinatly love for Wang Yu Yan.
Yesterday's History,
Tomorrow's a Mystery,
Today's a Gift,
That’s why we call it,
The Present.
In JY novel, I think the most beautiful women should be Chen YuanYuan in The Duke of MountDeer series. You cann't really question her beauty since there are two man who r willing to give up the Ming dynasty to get her. Remember the scenes which Wai SiuBou first met her, his abnormal behaviors. WSB must have seen a lot of beautiful girls already, he stays in the palace for god sake. CYY must be a very beautiful woman to stun WSB like this.
Another thing is CYY is already 40 something when she met WSB and has a daughter who is the most beautiful wife of WSB. If her beauty at this age and in nun's outfit can still stun WSB like this, she must be extremely charming and mesmerising when she was young. I don't think both XLN and WYY are pretty enough to have the magical power like CYY towards man. So CYY should be the most beautiful woman in JY novels.

The most adorable ZhaoMin in HSDS.
I agree, cassie. IMO we should rate them according to the influence they have on men in the same novel <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0"> Yuan Yuan should be #1, and #2 belongs to Princess Fragance of Book & Sword.

The only book I read in full is the Book and the Sword so I'm kinda biased. Hehe. Maybe when Noodles or Moin finish their translations, I'll change my mind.
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
According to Jinyong, he thought that Princess Fragrance was the most beautiful girl in his books. Following Princess Fragrance, it was be Xiao Long Nu. If you can view Chinese, you can go to this page: http://jinyong.ylib.com.tw/lib/jynews33.htm
However, in my opinion, i think Xiao Long Nu was more special. And also, I like her character more. <IMG SRC="smilies/love.gif" border="0">

I think so too. If I was to rank females in JY novels in terms of specialness and interesting character, Xiao Long Nu and Princess Fragance would definitely take #2 and #1 from the bottom, followed closely by Wang Yu Yen.

In my opinion, Princess Fragrance is a lady who brings disaster to people who love her and try to protect her. Maybe it's not her fault that Chen Jialuo should forget her sister for her, but I find it disgusting that she should stay all innocent(yes it's real innocence) and go like, "Huh, why are you so sad, my dear sis? Now I am sad too." <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0"> A lady like that will cry over a wounded rabbit but is blind to all the pain she brings to her loved ones. Shudder...
The worst part is, I think she IS the most beautiful female in JY's novels... <IMG SRC="smilies/cringe.gif" border="0">

Oh, so very true. It's almost as if JY purposely made them have goddess-type appearances to make up for their boringness.

That's exactly why I like his novels <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> Every character is "demi-god and semi-evil", well not really god or evil, but they all have flaws.
