I think the costumes in here are great actually! I like the more modern style than formel(all the girls' hair is like grown with a whole bunch of flowers, long long long loose hair and that thin bang*yawn*). And all the guys in the old ancient series got the same hairdo, you know a high placed tuft on the head, and they use similar weapon*tiring*. What I don't like in this serie is Xiao Yu Er's outfit, it looks like a pyjamas . But I'm glad that the director didn't try too hard to make the twins look cool though, like put alot of details on the outfits and so. Nic's clothes is simple, so is his hair. Still he's just TOO hott for my eyes!!!!

I think so too, xiao yu er outfit didn't looks nice I like his hairs lol! Girl outfit is pretty nice and cute. Nic hairs is cool his outift is alright.

i guess i'm one of the few the actually prefer the more traditional clothing. my favorite costume would be the purple one that FBB wore the first time she was struck by Nic's master.

the one where she had the multi colored hair.

i didn't much like it when it was faling off her shoulders but when she was fighting and it fell back into its rightful place, i totally loved it.

i'm not into the whole modern look. its so fantasy like. i'm not a fan of fantasy film.

i disliked all the hairs.

actually i don't really like this film tat much but i watch it for the good looking couple. FBB and Nic. i always thought they'll make a good couple.

i can only say personality. i know its wierd to say this, but you can say that he's a "humble" person. in the scene where xin lan was about to give birth and he had to leave to save his masters, he said "wu que will go and come back quickly" the way he used third person kind of lowered himself like if you're speaking with an elder. (wierd)

Do you think it was the way his masters raised him like they taught him that he was not worthy of a person in his own right, but just a property of them and their sect? Basically, he was just a drone to them. I know that his two masters raised him, but in the end it all came down to revenge. They started the whole thing to revenge against his father, so I would say that his upbringing was not all that rosy and peach like his twin brother.
I hope the family had a happy reunion after the evil girl kidnapped the baby and before XL was killed.

Hua wu que's second master is very kind to him though . She always help him get out of trouble . She once told her sister that Hua Wu que is like a son to her . Atleast he has someone who cares for him in the palace .

i agree. i could justify the death of every female character in here except for xin lan. i don't care that much for xin lan herself, but the fact that her death left wu que eternally miserable is very heart wreching. i felt especially sad when he told jiang yu yan "my heart and the person tha i love are both dead"

speaking of heart and death, does anyone have an interpretation for xiao xian nu's death scene, how xiao yu er started talking about the joke where a guy and a girl got poison and how it was only enough for one person, but both died? i'm not really a fan of them, but i found that scene interesting. one of my friends said that the deeper meaning hinted, is that when one person died, the heart of the other died with her, which is why one bottle of poison killed two people. (pretty deep huh?)
