    not in this lifetime.....

he will forever be branded as Jackie Chan's son...

if he ever make it as big as Jackie....

then it will be other way round

Jackie chan is now known as Jaycee Fong's father

Seems that most people I know who had seen the movie ain't loving it either. But what do you expect in a movie with TWINS in it?

Ah, and it's doing disappointing business in HK. Dropped to no. 4 in its first week. It's pretty hard for it to make half as much as part one did.

I can't beleive they made a sequel to the first one first of all. Horrible, just horrible. And this one is twice as horrible.

As for Jackie's son, let's face it, he's not very handsome, he looks like jackie in his old age. He doesn't have any particular talent that set Jackie apart back in the days. No way will he make it on his own.

Having shown his "versatility" or "capability" in his acting skills in Twins Effect II .. ya y not... I'm pretty much sure this movie will pretty much "path" his acting career downwards..
I'm basing all these on what I've seen in Twins Effect...

    Jaycee Fong's facial expressions:

    1) Sad --
    2) In a dilema --
    3) In love --
    4) In agony --
    5) when he's made King --
    6) when he's battling

Good grief. Twins finally having a movie that does below average, and I'm sure that with the hype surrounding it before, this is truly rather disappointing business. Hahahahahah!

No way. That kid looks weird and his name is weird too. Besides, hasn't his father fallen off the pedestal?

At least Jackie Chan was once at the top.

Dont think his son will ever reach that kind of stardom. He will forever be branded as Jackie's Chan son.

Yay, I am looking forward to see Twins going down down down.

pah, if there are teeny-boppers, there will be Twins fans.....until they start to age into old ladies lol...then the fans start to desert them for younger "idols"

    haha... they made a sequel 2 the 1st 1, b/c the 1st 1 made a lot of $$, so they wanna make more $$ by doin a sequel... i guess it back-fired!

lol... totally agree, the only reason y that Jaycee dude even got the damn lead is only b/c he's Jackie Chan's son
n trust me, i faced it already (the 1st time i saw that ugly dude), that Jaycee guy has NO CAMERA FACE watsoever!!! i think he's butt-ugly (hey, thats just my opinion)! n from wat i heard, he's gonna b paired w/ cutie-pie Gill in that damn movie! ahhh!!! just by knowing that, there is no way i'll even givin this movie a try, even though super-hottie Daniel Wu is in it. it's gonna b torturing watchin that ugly Jaycee dude bein w/ cutie-pie Gill.

    Talking

He'll never make it big. He has no talent. Doesn't even come close to his father. At least his dad was amusing, yeesh.

I'm glad TE2 sucked, because Twins can't act in the first place...MUAHAHAHAHAH..
You seem so out of context in this gaudy apartment complex...

sorry, i don't really pay attention to hk entertainment...i only watch tvb series...=)

can someone explain why Jaycee's last name is Fong? Why isn't it Chan?

and regarding Twins...they aren't popular cuz of acting skills or singing...it's their looks that make them popular...

I think he will do better focusing on his singing. Heard he sings pretty well. It's harder for him to get out of his father's shadow in the movie industry since his dad is such a legend in it. But I won't write him off yet. Acting skills can improve through experience. This is only his first acting job. He might surprise everyone with a good performance in the future.

I used to not like Edison Chen and think he absolutely can't act and can't sing. But he has improve quite a lot since then, and I'm beginning to like him more and more.

Jackie Chan's real surname is Fong. His father (Jaycee's grandfather) adopted the surname Chan to elude the communists.

Some trivia from The Straits Times Interactive

ALTHOUGH he (Jaycee) has reverted to his original family surname, Fong, for his Chinese name, the name on his American passport remains Jaycee Chan Cho Ming. Meanwhile, his official name in the family's ancestral books is Fong Suk Mun. His grandfather, from China's Anhui province, adopted the surname Chan to elude the communists. Jackie Chan has three other names - Cheng Long, Chan Kong Sang and Fong Si Lung.

Well, Patrick Tse was a legend too, and Nicholas Tse did pretty well.

But then... Jaycee lacks the charisma or looks or talents to pull it off though.
