    To James Ko:

Nah, we weren't talking about "selling and buying", just talking about toys.

    This is one of them:
    Starscream Generation 1 Re-Issue

You can buy them here: http://toystown.shellhung.org/product_tr_1.htm

Anyone own any Beast Wars toys?

I bought a number of BW toys from Ebay back in 2000- 2001...

I have most of the ultra sized figures... But they do nothing but collect dust. I transformed them a few times after I got them, but don't really feel like playing with them nowadays.

Beast Wars did brought some popularity back to the series... but to me transforming from beast to robot doesn't really appeal to me.

As for collector... just wait for a few years. If you kept the figures in their original box and stuff, it should go up in a price in a few more years.

Actually, the Dinobots from G1 were quite popular so animal to robot is pretty popular.

As far as play value goes, the BW toys are a lot better than G1 toys due to the increase in joint articulation and "lifelikeness" as a robot.

Some G1 toys looked terrible as robots.... E.g. Ironhide and Ratchet robot modes.

The following is one of my favorites from BW toys (pic from a fansite):

The only complaint I have on the DVD is they didn't release a widescreen version.

Did you guys know there's going to be a live-action Transformers movie? They haven't started production apparently, but are aiming for a 2005 release.

It's probably going to be mostly CGIs.

    Funny story,
I had a dream a couple of months ago that they were making a live action transformers. Apparently I got a part, because they asked me what transformer I wanted to be. I was just about to say 'Grimlock' when one of my friends woke me up....damnit
anyway, now they've really announced the live version. prediction? lol

I love the old movie. It's so cheesy. Especially that song..."you've got the touuuuch!!! you've got the poooower!!"

    ahh memories
All that's needed to say have been said, why say anything more? The man is drunk, why stay any longer?....

I have the movie on VHS and DVD, and I'm 19, I just never get tired of it...cept for TF Armada...couldn't stand it....Hotshot was annoying...and the only thing that really made it worth watching was that it had the voice actor of Goku playing Raz ((or whatever his name was...I forget...)) anyways
