the year is 1945. when japan surrendered.
amy will be acting from young to old. main female lead. the show shows how hard is it for a woman to bring up 3 or 2 children single-handly. (dunno what happened to the husband). the eldest son died. amy adopted a son on the way... then one day during the 70s... the adopted son came to know that the brother did smth wrong and confronted him. then the brother killed the adopted son accidentally. amy caught sight of the killing and pointed against her own son in court. at that time, amy is already old n has to sit on a wheel chair...

wow...that sounds like good....although i dont really like period dramas during the Japanese Occupation and forward i thinkif it's Amy it's worth a watch....
sometimes i wonder if she'd ever get bored playing the struggling woman....i mean, i like her more in wuxia she looks so dang good in those ancient costumes....

i hate amy playing roles of a ill-fated woman. i hate this kind of shows. if it weren't for amy, i wouldn't even watch this kind of shows. =(

the MOST recent ones are heroine of the yangs (mu gui ying) , hung man ding (one episode only), the chinese love story (the one she acted as a blue dragon. =P) and yang jia jiang (she tai jun).

I think u would be quite disappointed to know dat i've checked with speedy & it looks like they hav no intention to bring in da english sub dvd They are only bringing in da dvd version from china which is da mandarin one I think da reason they gav was dat da en sub one is a US release & they don't hav supplier fr them.

Bcoz of dat i'm ordering mine from yesasia. Hav to spend more for it Dis is my first order fr yesasia & they hav already gav me some problem regarding my credit card. They want me to fax dis & dat So troublesome. I don't hav any problem with sensasian. Too bad sensasian does not hav dis one

omg? u have prob w yesasia? hmm... i have no prob w the web leh... not at all. maybe is bcos u nv follow the exact procedure?
sensasian looks too run down. haha it takes a long time to load too. i dun like that place. i prefer yesasia. =)
