I see, maggie was coaching steven while they were filming better halves. Silly me, thinking they were going to speak English in a costume series Now dis is da first time i heard dat maggie lived in England before. I knew moses was fr Australia. It would hav been fun to see them learning english huh?
HAHA, no worries, it'll always be there. No need to rush into watching it! And yeah, Amy is really great with singing English songs, I really really love the song "over and over" (the lyrics is beautiful!).

Yeah, that'll be weird if they spoke English in an ancient custume series. HAHA, yeah, Maggie was schooling over there, I believed for 4-6 years, I forgot. But not long after returning to HK, she was spotted on the street by "on-lookers" for the HK pageant, thus came the Maggie we know today. She's such a experimental person, she went against her father's idea and left the country. HAHA, so much like me!

Nah, you're remembering it wrong, I cant blame you, its been a long long long long time.

FOJ1: Amy and Bobby hooked up
FOJ2: Amy and Bobby still together, but Bobby got jealous b/c her old bf came back to HK, but they made up in the end
FOJ3: bobby continually proposes to Amy, but she rejects him, up until the end
FOJ4: they're already a married couple, but Amy wouldnt stop using birth-control pills, b/c she dont want children, but Bobby does. Bobby has an affair with Sheren Teng, and Amy divorced him. But until the ending, Bobby realizes he only loves Amy. At the end of this installment, Bobby was trying to re-court Amy and start over.
FOJ5: Amy wasnt in this one, so Bobby and Amy's relationship ENDED. In this installment Bobby has a love tri-angle with Ada Choi and Flora Chan.

If you're asking me, the 5th installment is a waste of time and rather pathetic, because the main cast kind of just vanished. HAHA, Amy and Bobby's story was left in the middle, they could've MADE UP AND CREATED A FAMILY TOGETHER. STUPID TVB! Its no wonder I dont watch their series anymore, especially ones with sequals! I think I've read an article somewhere that Amy was talking about motherhood, and she said that motherhood had made her more mature and better over-all. I love the article I read on her interview regarding "The Young Warriors"

She's such a sentimental mother and professional actress! I bet she felt the casts of Young Warriors as family, after filming the series. HEHE, so cute!

    NEWS: (Credits: Amy Chan's Grassland)

Here is a Banner for "Dream Legend"

    (CUTE EH?)

    Amy and the Tango:

What I am getting from this is that:
    1) Amy, though nervous about the musical, she believes that she can do it, because she has been in the entertainment world for more than 2 decades.
    2) She did this musical because she really wants to challenge herself and, as an entertainer, she wants to statisfy her cravings for a better performance, since a musical is live, therefore presents more pressures, challenges, and requires more skill from the performer. (Its nice to see that Amy likes to experiment with not just "the safe way out" like many ppl, I love a "risk-taker")
    3) In the musical "Dream Legend" there would be about 10+ songs that'll be performed, and Amy, alone, will be singing 4 of the 10 songs here, which is GREAT! I hope to be able to hear her singing, plus it'll be a bonus if I can see it too. HAHA!
    4) Because she not only has to sing, Amy must dance and act while performing in this musical, therefore the difficulty she's facing in this production is higher than those she's dealt with in her 20+ years in the entertainment circle.
    5) She will be acting with an 8 years old, boy, who would be playing her son. (HOW CUTE?)
    6) I dont really understand some parts, but what I'm getting is that she says musicals are hard to find in the market, therefore to have one, you must take caution and perform even better, therefore incourage the market price of musical performances (RIGHT?)

    Hey gals,

Its like 4 am over here and I finally finished watching all 4 installments of The Files of Justice. Good God, its a pretty good series. HEHE, I miss seeing Amy already!

The series really make me scared of being a lawyer, I mean, you have to do too many things that seems so "inhumane" sometimes you are fighting for the wrong person and though you know your client is wrong, you still have to fight for him and prove he is innocent. HAHA, seems so unfair to me. Its not wonder I dropped the thought of becoming a lawyer, too many of them seems so heartless.

TFOJ really elevated the classiness and vulnerable side of a group of lawyer friends, I envy their close-knit relationship. I love the guys, lolz, I bet they'll never get bored, they're all so talkative and cute. HAHA, making dirty jokes and poking fun at one another, thats what you call friends!

I personally enjoyed watching the series, not for the cases, because I've seen many like those, but I enjoyed the personal life of each character. I must admit I do find any areas of interest in each character. Michael Tao, suprisingly didnt annoy me (I've never enjoyed his acting), but this time, I thought his witty and bothersome jokes towards his friends were cute, his character, Michael, really lightens the atmosphere a great deak, therefore I enjoyed his presence, very much! William So's character, Raymond, was the goodie-to-shoe, hehe, always the humane one in here. I enjoyed his innocence and shy characteristic, I guess thats why he's always bullied. POOR KID!

Lets talk Bobby, haha, I find him to be so cute in here. I mean, his character, Ben, was a pleasure to watch in part 1-3, because he was so sincere and definitely in love with Amy's character, Michelle. I personally thought he is the clique-clown. HAHA, he has a very dirty mouth, he never thinks before he speaks, though it gets annoying, its cute and funny most of the time. I love his "carelessness" towards other people, but once it comes to Michelle, he pours his heart into it. SOOO CHARMING! Dont you think? But again, he lacks trust towards his gal, he's always jealous whenever he sees Michelle with another man, I FIND THIS REALLY ANNOYING. I didnt understand what Ben was thinking half the time. He's so immature!

It was no wonder Michelle didnt want to have kids, because Ben was one already. HAHA, I really love Michelle's character - she's cold on the outside, but when real trouble comes she's always the first to stand up and defend her love. SOOO CUTE! Throughout the 1-3 series I was like, Goodness, Ben really loves Michelle, but Michelle does very little to prove her love to Ben. But thats who Michelle is, she isnt the lovey-dovey type person, when she cares for someone she doesnt neccessarily tell them that. I admire that! Amy's portrayal of Michelle is really amazing, very pursuasive as a high ranked lawyer, perfect fit!

Of the 4 series, I personally enjoyed the 4th one the most, as the storyline is more elaborated than the 3 pre-quals. I love the love story betwen Michelle and Ben, I thought they wouldve had a happy ending, but sadly they didnt. As I said I bet if Amy was still with TVB the 5th installment of TFOJ would end with Michelle and Ben reuniting! The storyline was so set during the end of the 4th installment, as it was obvious that Michelle and Ben still loves each other. CURSE TVB for ruining the series with the new casts of the 5th installment. ARGGHHH, the 5th one was nothing without Michelle and Ben's relationship. I have seen teh 5th one a while ago and never liked it. HAHA, its no wonder. Bobby with Flora and/or Ada was a bore to me, they cannot replace Michelle!

OK, let me get off my rampage about the 5th installment, it only disgusted me. HAHA!

Let me ask you guys a question:

Is it me or is Bobby's character, Ben, a sex-addict? HAHA, Everytime you see him and Michelle in her house, he's always talking about "making love" or "making babies" - hahaha - isnt he a sicko? So immature!

I am just bored and cannot sleep so i went back and read some of the earlier posts. keke, Its almost 5 but i cant sleep!

Why wouldnt the temple accept Mr Lam? keke

You dont seem to like him?

I honestly dont hear much about Lam Kwok Hung, what is he doing? I know he isnt acting anymore, but what is he doing? I heard he was into real estate (like many other ex-actors out there).

I dont know am I right in saying this, but there was this article in Chinese that said Amy and LWH had a very public mishaps a few years back, regarding what, I dunno. But this is me relying on grammatically incorrect internet translation page, so I dare not say this is correct. HAHA, I am pretty sure if anything had happen its repremended.

I must say I admire Amy and her hubby's long term marriage, its hard to stick together for such a long time. Amy married really young and its hard to find ppl today who can stay together for 2 decades or more.

Since, alot of my files were destroyed when my old hard-drive broke. jparadize understands what I am saying. LOLZ!

Yeah, Amy's voice is really amazing! But the first song I heard her sing was probably the one for The Good Old Days, but I've never acknowledged it was her voice until much later on in my life. LOLZ, but the one song I knew immediately that Amy sung the theme for was, like you, THOTY. I guess we have more in common than you think.

Its funni, because I've always loved Amy's acting, I've seen her in a number of series when I was younger, and did notice her geniune talents, but I never became "crazy in love" until the recent years. Unlike Maggie, I liked her since age 8, and since then I've researched and known much about her.

HAHA, I was around 8/9 when I realized Amy too, I remember having 2 cut out posters of Amy in my room when I was young, right next to Maggie. HAHA, but I never really went in-depth. WHAT A LOST? HAHA, I never understood my thoughts than. But I know, I did like her much back then.

Honest to say, Amy is an im-measurable walking talent!
I've only heard amy sang in thoy but fr now i know she has sang many songs. I'm depressed now for not being able to get tgod Let me see whether i can find da theme song in youtube

I've liked amy da first time i saw her & i think it was the file of justice. As u know i've not watched a lot of her series but i'm slowly progressing so dat's good news As for maggie, i started liking when i was watching cold blood warm heart. I'm pretty slow when watching series coz i only started diligently watching tvb a few years ago.

U are right, amy is an im-measurable walking talent

Oops, i got it mixed up . As u said, it has been sometime since da series was out. Dat's why i'll look into buying fr my local video stores. I'm very sure they hav it.

I remember da birth control part but i couldn't remember da affair thingy with sheren tang. I hav a vague memory of her being in da series. Sad to say i remember more of latest (which is now really old ) tfoj then da older ones but i prefer da older cast. I think i still prefer to hav bobby chasing amy coz he was really funny

She has done a very good job in protecting her son fr da media coz we hav not been able to see any current pictures of her son. I don't think i've seen many pictures of her son when he was younger so i can safely conclude dat she has done an excellent job in letting her son hav a normal life

I remember dat article very well. It was one of da first few articles i read about da Young Warriors. At dat time i was absorbing any info i could find about Young Warriors dat i read dat article so many times. It was so difficult to find much about Young Warriors at da beginning but after waiting patiently for months, news came flowing in like water

I guess dat's why she played her character so well. All her emotions were all so real. She must hav felt da lost when 'her sons' died at da end. I could feel her pain when i saw those episodes. I was crying like a baby. Thank goodness my mum didn't see me, she would hav thought i was crazy

U know wat Linh-e-Pooh, u read my mind . I wanted to ask u yesterday to post any photos u find of amy in her tango dress but i forgot & today i see her photos in da tango dress. So u really read my mind, thank u!!! I really like her in those photos. Don't u think she look so pretty

It's not easy to do a musical. To sing, dance & act at da same time. I think it's more work than just plain acting coz u hav to concentrate on doing so many things at one time. So i'm really impressed with her for doing it. It takes a lot of time to practice also coz there is no retake in a musical. Once u r on stage its live & there is no retake

Wat i would do to be able to get to watch dis mucisal. Linh-e-Pooh, if u ever come across any of da songs dat amy performs in dis series, could u please post it here??? Though dat maybe sometime right????

U know wat, we hav more in common then u think. I also wanted to be a lawyer when i was younger but i changed my mind coz i was afraid dat da people dat i represent will come after me if i loose their case I know silly me

Also i personnaly cannot stand michael tao's acting. I think he really cannot act & most of da time i feel dat his expression r so fake. However, i find dat he is pretty funny in the file of justice. I didn't hate him at all. I was actually looking forward to see wat he was upto in dis series.

Da camaraderie of da guys in dis series was really really tight. They were so closed & u don't see it many series now. I think dis was one of da long series dat was really good. Too bad a lot of da original cast was not there in da later series. We see them grow here & not to mention da fashion too. Compare da clothings & hairstyles of da cast of da first & sixth series. Vast difference right?

TFOJ was one of da first series dat tvb did dat was more 'matured' meaning dat they had more intimate relationships scenes in dis series. It was da transition time where they moved away fr da 80s style of filming to da more modern filming. Well dat was wat i felt. U don't see dat much kissing in da older series right??? TVB did a great job with TFOJ but made a big mistake for changing da cast in da later installments

I never knew amy's husband wanted to be a monk??? I thought dat was a rumour. So it's never going to be confirmed right???

It's hard to keep a marriage last so many years. Lots of compromising has to be made to keep a marriage last. If either party does not compromise then da marriage won't last. Don't forget a lot of sacrifice has to be made too. I think amy is really capable to be able juggle her personal life & career & still be who she is today. Ok, now i've a new level of respect for her Wat more is there to say about her

Hmm, youtube has the MV version for the theme song of The Good Old Days (Amy Chan alone) and the sub-theme song (Amy Chan and Ma Chi Kit). They also have the trailer for the series with the theme song playing in the background.

I dont have the link now, too lazy to go search for it!

HAHA, I like Amy earlier than I did Maggie, but when I fell for Maggie I went into a deep whole. HAHA, I dont understand why i didnt love Amy as much as I did Maggie, until the past 4 years or so, my reason is that I am more opened to Maggie's series and news, since finding them in english is so easy. Whereas Amy barely film any series anymore and when she does, it takes a while to dub into viet, therefore my exposure to Amy is extremely limited. Plus, Amy's news are generally in Chinese, which poses a dilemma for me, because I cannot read CHinese, and at the time I wasnt into translation sites, ahahahha, I was a naive little girl. ^_^

I have a thing with series collecting, hahaha, I love to collect Maggie and Amy's series, right now I have 29 of Amy's series and 24/so of Maggie's. I am hoping to find more of their earlier series, those are so exquiste - i love the 80s

BUT OF COURSE, Amy is an im-measurable walking talent! HAHA

HAHA, no problem, ur memories are better than mine. When I was watching TFOJ my brother kept reassuring me that we've seen all 5 installments, because he remembers watching it, but I swear I havent seen it. HAHAHA, maybe that was just because during that time, I was like 3 when the first one came out, 8 when the 4th one came out. I cannot blame my poor recollection. Because I didnt get hooked onto watching TV series until I was like 12 (that's when all the crazy obsessions with actors and actresses began!) HAHA!

The birth control parts were so funny, Bobby continually tries to throw away Amy's birth control pills to impregant her, he thinks he's so sly! That really cute when his hormones kicks in ^_^ HE'S A SEX ADDICT as I stated earlier on.

He did have a ongoing affiar with Sheren - they never had a bed scene together, but they go out and kiss each other, yada yada. Kiet, portrayed by Sheren, and Ben, portrayed by Bobby, thought it'll never hurt Michelle, portrayed by Amy, if they went out with no string attached. BOY were they wrong, Michelle flipped out and kicked Ben away instantly. HAHAHA, she is a strong believer of "once a cheater always a cheater!" HAHAHA, the saddest thing was Michelle caught Ben and Kiet when they were breaking it off Michelle was ready to have kids with Ben too, after all those years together, what a real lost!

I mean, I felt so bad for Ben too, but he's the darn cheater, I cant believe him, Michelle could've risked her life to satisfy his passion for a complete family by having children. Michelle has a heart condition that could jeopradize her life when she becomes pregnant, hic hic, even with that she still wanted to have kids for him. And he went around and backstabs her! WHAT A JERK!

HAHA, that's what I said too! Amy did too good of a job protecting her son from the public eye, I WANT TO SEE HIS PICTURE! ^_^ I've only seen like a handful of Amy's son's pictures. When he was around 6/8 he looked alot like amy, he has her eyes! Definitely does!

HAHA, isnt that article so cute? Amy sounds like she really enjoyed the times when she was filming TYWOTYC, I've seen many clips of the gang filming and just enjoying their fimling life, its so cute how they are so close-knit, dispite the huge casting. HEHE!

Even though I am not a mother or anything close to that, I felt She Sai Hau's pain in losing both her sons and her hott husband. HAHA, imagine standing on a mother's point of view, I'D PROB DIE! I guess Amy did so well because she can imagine the feeling of losing her child (PLZ LET THAT NOT HAPPEN). She did si splendidly in here, hehehe, especially during the scene where Wu Lang and Liu Lang brought back the dead bodies and every scenes afterwards. HIC HIC, I feel the pain. She definitely scared me so much i felt my heart stopped for a good minute in one of the scene where she was bedridden and Liu Lang came in... SHOCKED to see his mother's beautiful, sleek, and healthy black hair turn grey! Amy's facial expression and the depression was so well portrayed I freaked out seeing her in that condition. I bet I am not alone on this!

BTW warlock, you seem to mention you mother alot! HAHA, I bet she's very strict on you! U must be very obident towards her, CUTE!

Of course Amy looked prettiful! HAHA, when doesnt she? Her inner beauty always shines! HAHA, honest to say, I would imagine her tango dress to be a bit more sparkly and sexy, but I guess she wouldnt wear something too sexy, as she isnt into those kind of thing, eh? But yes, she's gorgeous either way! What I'd do to go see the musical! HAHA

Yeah, I do understand that doing a musical is absolutely harder than a TV series, because when you miss up in a Tv series, there'll always be retakes. But once you miss up in a musical you have to improvise and use your quick thinking skills to fool the audiences and make it look like its a part of the act. HAHA, therefore its really stressing to do such a musical. HAHA, it takes guts and talents to an amature like Amy to do such an act, what is more impressive is that she's leading the musical, shes not just taking a minor role. HAHAHA, what a big leap, dont you think? I guess she's really that confident in herself. She's confident in a god way, not concieted! AHAHA

Trust me, if I would come across anything related to this musical, the first thing I'd do is post it up here. But what are the chances? hahaha, and yeah, it'll be at least another month until anything can be released, because the musical doesnt have its opening night until mid-September, around the 15th. HEHE

HAHA, funni! I still think about learning law, though I wouldnt want to have to be caught in a situation where I'm fighting for the wrong person. How can ppl sleep at night, knowing they were wrong and caused an innocent person to go to jail? I know I cant!

HAHA, we do have much in common, Michael Tao has never ever, in his many years in the entertainment world, captured my attention POSITIVELY. HAHA, his acting is so fake as you said. I dont enjoy watching him too much. But his character in here is likable because it requires a psycho kid, ahahha, one who only likes to play around and court girls. That looks like the real Michael, eh?

I agree, TFOJ was a transition type, back in the early 90s you dont see much kissing or love scenes, but in TFOJ that's all you see. LOLZ, especially connecting back to Amy and the ever-crazy-sex-addict Bobby. HAHAHA. They make a really cute couple!

Is it me or whenever Bobby and Amy does a love scene together, they look like a real couple? I mean whenever they laughed and giggled together in their like home, they look so geniune and the laughter especially looks so real. HAHAH, dont you think?

The lastest installment to TFOJ was worthless as I stated before. I hate it when they have sequals and they kick off any of the main casts, its rediculous when they try to convince us that that character flew to England, US, or wherever ad is never coming back. HOW PATHETIC?

If they do make another installment to this, I hope Amy can come back an sweep Bobby off his feet. HAHA, I know so many fans anticipated Ben and Michelle's relationship to blossom after the 4th installment, but it never came! TVB STINKS! HAHA

Ok, now i've a new level of respect for her Wat more is there to say about her
HAHA, I believe he had thoughts about it. But of course he hasnt, because he's still with Amy, right? HAHAHA, what the hell was he thinking? With a prefect wife like Amy, who would even think about such a thing? *shakes head*

Of course, marriage is tough. HAHA, there's no point in arguing with this fact. I've always respected couples who can last so long. But again, just because marriage doesnt work out for some ppl, that doesnt mean they arent to be respected. Sometimes people change and feelings change. I dont believe that because of their face a couple have to live together, even though they've lost the feelings they once had together. Its a waste of your life. HAHA, thats why I dont plan to get married, well not too soon!

The most suprising thing about this is, Amy was married at a very young age. HAHA, most young couples, living under the lime-light, dont last. HEHE, Amy is very blessed!
