I figured! Thanks for the comfirmation!

BTW, there's this one person, online, who told me that she read the newspaper some time ago that says ATV may be making another installment to The Good Old Days! Ahhh, I find that hard to believe, as the series already ended with its classical happy ending.

According to this girl, I contacted by chance, she said the storyline would focus on Sau Hau and Ho Sang's daughter... WHICH AWED ME, because they had a son. I mean, ok, the chances of them having another child is not low, but ahhhhh, another installment, based on the story of Sau Hau and Ho Sang's daughter I bit too desperate? Is it not?

are you imagining things? haha it's impossible cos who will watch the show w/o amy unless the amy acts as her own daugther. HAHA
btw, the show ended with the 2 main characters so old already. so even if they wanna film the show AGAIN with focus on the daughter, she would have been so old already. hahaha get wat i mean?

HAHA, this girl told me that! I was like, AHHH NO WAY TOO!

I was watching a video on youtube.com and came upon the girl's comment, as i was posting my own. And that's what she said. Here's the link if you want to read it:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7AuMKUOhZA

I find it to be hilarous!

And yes, with what you said, the end of TGOD was Sau Hau and Ho Sang being in their 80s-90s, that'll be stupid if they had another installment where, either they were young again, or acted as 90 years old folks... I mean the youngest their daughter could ever be is like 40 (which is already a turn-down, IMO)

    I told you!

As I've said, if they would ever make another installment, it'll only be a complete failure. So to say, the second installment can never compare to the original.

And yes, who would pay to watch a series that is part 2 to a series - to which was dominated in its original form, by Amy Chan? The series would only put a negative effect on itself and ATV as a whole. Plus, it'll dirty the flawless original. THEREFORE NO WAY TO PART II! NO WAY!

O really? HAHA, I was gonna go buy some art supplies and an aisle to prepare my first ever human (AMY) portriot art. I've done many other types of paintings, but none of a real person. HAHA, I wonder how it'd look! :P

I am still working on my first one. HAHA, I'll finish it by tomo, I like to draw late at night when I cannot sleep. And by experience, you know I stay up late. ^_^

I cannot wait until i start Amy's painting, I made a diagram of what to draw, what angle to draw the pic, and what to accent it and all. HEHE, I just couldnt find time to go out this morning, I had work to do! KEKE

Trust me, immediately upon finishing the painting, I'd post it up. But I cannot say I'll do a good job, as this would be my very first. HAHA, its great pressure creating an painting of a person you admire so much!

I was actually thinking about learning how to photoshop too. As it would or at least should be fun to mess with colors. Though I am a boring person, who used only black and white.

BTW, jparadize, do you know what Amy's favorite color is? I dont recall ever reading about it!

HAHA, I dont particularily like red, as its too bloody, but its a sexy close. Too bright for my boring taste!

But, red and white are extremely easy colors to incorporate into my painting, thanks god likes easy colors to work with. HAHA, MUAHHZ!

    TGOD Part II
    http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.asp...id-1003869224/

Totaling up to not even $180 USD. Not bad for a series that long! I only bough mine for $57 USD. Luckily me, eh?

The products I gave you links for are in stock. I dont see any versions of TGOD that are set in 4 volumes

And yes, according to my seeing, Gilbert spends more time onscreen with Amy than Steven does. HAHA, you would actually love to see Amy and Steven together in here, because she does deserves to be with the man so love oh so much. No matter how much you hate Steven, you would want to see her end up with him. Trust me, you cannot think otherwise.

Amy spends much time with Gilbert because Steven doesnt like her in the beginning, therefore doesnt spend time with her. But when he does fall for her, he leaves for war. Half of the series revolves around her working his family whilst he is at war. So, basically Amy and Steven's path doesnt cross each other for at least half the series. HAHA, ironic, eh? If Amy and Steven where said to be at odds in this series, I would believe it!

But trust me, Steven and Amy's chemistry is really good, despite their little onscreen time together (in percentage) compared to other couples in other series, IS GREAT! Their scripted lines are so alluring and brilliantly written, it gives you goosebumps sometimes. But yes, seeing them together, you cant help but say "AWWW, how cute?"
I think da reason u couldn't find da four parts is bcoz u went to da US site & not da global one. People who does not live in US or Canada hav to order fr da global website. I just found out today dad my shipment has been shipped of today. I'll get da first two parts soon NOt sure when i'll receive it but i'll keep a look out for it

I hope i'll agree with u about steven & amy's chemistry. I will hav to see it for myself & tell u wat i think. Da sad thing is dat i don't hav da other two parts to finish da whole series I think i'll hav to speak to my parents & see whether they will agree to sponsor da other two parts Actually i hav to wait & see whether i get my first two parts or not. Da customs at my place is pretty strict so i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I mean, who'd cook meat for him when he was younger? HAHA, not mommie of course, I hope! ^_^

IMO actresses in the 80s generally worries less than the actresses now-a-days, as actresses then worries more on their act than on their looks, therefore the physcial stress of course is high, but mental stress is not as high as compared to actresses today who are being watched and criticed on how they look around the clock. HAHA, back then, the POPerazzis arent all over the streets like they are today. I agree with what you said, actresses today focus too much on their looks, thats why their mental stresss really make them age faster. As I said, you are only as lod as you feel. HAHA, if the actresses succeed, they'll look good (though physical attractiveness is mostly due to personal genes, weither or not you stay pretty or look old, depends on how you take care of yourself). That's why the acting quality had deteriorated, because actors and actresses (more so than not) worry too much about looks and not the inner profession. AT WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY, dont you think?

Thats why I like to watch or rewatch older series, now-a-days. New TV series are generally rotting my brain. I always give them a try, but if they fail to grasp my attentions, its definitely a GOODBYE!

Nah, I dont really like neither chicken or beef. I am more a seafood and veggie eatter. Love anything with crab in it. I am not a big fan of lobster, I dont think its any different from shrimp honestly, but I dont understand why my mom and dad thinks otherwise. But whatever, every1 has different tastes.

I had actually think of becoming a vegeterian, but I cant let go of the seafood, but there's another kind of vegeterian genre where you only eat seafood and greenaries, I forgot what they are called, but I'll prob become one of them. But again, that means if I want food, I have to cook it myself. HAHA, I eat what my parents put on the table, HAHA, me cooking is like the blind leading a newborn across the streets. ^_^
Well her son may not be a vegetarian but who knows right?? I know a friend whose mother is a vegetarian but he & his siblings r not. Even his dad is not so it's actually up to da family.

I agree with u dat actresses today r more interested in their looks then their acting & dat's why da series nowadays r not interesting anymore. Still we'll watch coz we can't be choosy right? I mean how many old series can we watch?? At one point we would hav watched all of it. Me too, i'll give da new series a try but if it's not worth watching, i'll just give up half way. No point having to sit through rubbish right??

But then, the earrings make them too feministic, doesnt it? We are talking about ther heroic Yang, the ladies are sophisticated, but doesnt need earrings to make them look like the true women the are. EH? HEHE, Sheh Sai Hua need not earrings to beautify her beauty both inside and out!
No, it's really weird dat none of da actresses wears earrings. I don't think it's bcoz of da budget or anything. I think like u say, it makes them too feministic but dat's da point isn't it? U want them to look feministitc at one point & then when they hav to they can be sophisticated & strong. To me da ladies r soft, feminine & etc but when things happened they can be strong & sophisticated also. So i don't see why couldn't they let them wear earrings. Though it's too late to question them. Da series is already completed

Totaling up to about $164 USD, its a bit cheaper than the 2 parts volume YesAsia.com offers. But either way, its too late to tell you now. But, next time make sure you get the better end of the deal, since you are a student, you need to save the money on these kind of thing. And thinking about it, I bet you dont have a job either, so you must save up. ^_^

Hmm, I was searching the series at MalMusic.com too, and they also have the 4 volumes to TGOD, but theirs is a bit more expensive than SensAsian.com (they run for $49.99/volume, whereas SensAsian.com runs for $41.99). HEHE, I am pretty sure if you can buy the series in a video store in Asia, it'll be about half the price you bought it for online. But as you said, for a person who isnt too good at chinese, walking into a Chinese video store is like an American walking into a foriegn country. Its a safer bet to buy it online!
Thanks for da advise. I sort of hav a job dat's why i'm busy in a sense Though it's nothing much. Da thing is i got da more expensive one is bcoz of da courier service. I always want my stuff to be delivered to me by da good courier company like DHL, TNT, Fedex & etc. If i got my stuff fr sensasian, it may be cheaper but they get da local courier company to send da parcel & local courier company means our local Post which is not dat good. When i got my vcd for the young warriors, da box was damaged. Luckily da cds were ok. They did not even bubble wrap it properly I'm not even sure whether it's da company dat bubble wrap it or courier company so dat's why i pick yesasia. I know it can be more expensive but since i'm already planning to spend da money i make as well get da best right?? Dat's why i hav to buy wisely

Yeah, it'll coz me half da price if i can buy it at da local stores. Too bad i did not get dis series when they were out years ago. At least then i would hav got a chance to buy it but now it's like searching for a needle in a hay stack U r right, when i buy chinese series, i'm like an american walking into a foreign country It's actually very sad coz i'm chinese & still i don't understand or able to read da print on da dvds Luckily a lot of people here hav dat problem It's just dat if i ask da salesperson to help me they cannot really tell me wat it says coz their english r not dat good so it's like a duck talking to a chicken

I love reading history and learning about it (NOT US History, they have too many boring history, plus their exsistence hasnt been long enough to encapture the great histories of earlier civilizations, such as the beauty and arts of the Chinese community. EXQUIST, if I can say so myself... Chinese history is so vibrant and magnetic, IMO, I can never learn enough!)

Dont get me wrong, warlock, musicals can be oh so entertaining. Its just, I really dont like sitting in one place for so long. HAHA, I dont like crowded theaters and the sound effects when the speakers are all over the place. I dont like being caught in a long place. Remember, I live in the US, where they thin convience is the best. The quality of theater here compared to places in Asia is prob 2 totally different experience. HAHA...

But yes, enjoying live performances onstage is amazing, you can tell they are extremely good at what they do. AT LEAST we can gaurantee that they are actually acting ^_^

YES, concerts are so much worst. I nearing got ran over so many time :P I hate going to concerts, but I have to so many times. HAHA, not by choice, I rather go to more sophiscated stageplay like musicals. HAHA!
Yup, i've been to london a couple of times for holidays & i really enjoyed it I enjoy myself more in london then in sydney. Da only problem is da long hours to get there Ah, i've found another things dat we hav in common, we ancient buildings. Actually i like castles so it's still ancient though i've no big interest in chinese history unless there r lots of graphics for me

I rather sit in one place then running around coz it's easier to just sit there & enjoy da musical. I agree with u, if u r seated at da wrong especially near da speakers it can be a killer. Really can go deaf.

I don't enjoy concerts at all. I can't even hear myself think when i'm there. ACtually we can't see much things in a concert & da noise is so bad. I try not to go any concert if i can. I rather buy da cd & listen to it at home. At least i'll enjoy it more.
