Thank u. Yes, she signed using chinese characters. I am trying to figure how u r going to learn how to sign dat. It's not easy. As jparadize said amy studied da traditional chinese so her signature can be quite complicated. Let me know how's ur progress in learning how to sign her name.

Well, for the past hour or so I've been working on the sketches. The one with Steven and Amy (B&W). I'm done now, but I am not sure whether or not I want to accent the sketch with other things. Here is the finished product:

How do you think about it? KEKE, its a hard sketch, but I finished it! I'm actually rather satisfied with it, not 100% percent, but I did what I could. And I'm impressed with my patience to this piece. ^_^

For some reason I cant capture the excitement in the original photo, so my sketch doesnt look too lively! I've failed to encapture the jolly aura, which is a real shame! But again, I did what I could.

Now, question:
Should I accent the picture with other things? If so what?
I think its such a geniune photo already, adding on accents would ruin the surreal atmosphere, so that's why I chose not to add onto the sketch. But you tell me what you think! I'd take it into conciderations, another idea would be greatly appreciated!

And if you've noticed, I added on to Amy's hair. Since the original didnt have her full hair displayed, I drew what I imagined the rest of her hair to look like. HAHA, so if its wrong, ahhhhhhhhhhh, TOO LATE! HAHA, but plz tell me if I got it wrong. I kinda followed the hairstyle Amy had in Anywhere But Here, since it looks kinda like it from what I see. ^_^ Hope I didnt go off board!

Very nice Linh, i like da sketch very much. I think u've done a very good job. To me i don't think u should accent da picture with any other thing. Is nice as it is. Don't do anymore thing to do it, it's perfect already. I really like dis b&w, when i see it, i can see da original picture so u know how well u hav done.

U didn't fail to capture da joy, it's there so u should be really proud of urself. Hey, for a person who don't do dis for a living, u've done an excellent job

warlock, I tired taking a better pic of Amy's signature with my camera, but the flashes was on way too high, therefore when I took the pic, the white background and the flash together made the photo completely bright and white, even when I lightened th flash it was no very legable. I LOVE THESE CLOSE UP PIC, it really brings out her beautiful eyes! Amy has a very nice profile, it structures her nose and brings out her petite lips. ^_^ Especially for the pic on the cover of the memo. SO PRETTY!

Is it me or does Amy ding very well LIVE? I mean, I've seen and heard many other singers sing live, but they STINK! HAHA, they either sing too slow or too fast, or sometimes they dont sing period. HAHA, Amy has a wonderful voice, both high and low notes she does tremendously well! In the concert too, she was great. I can tell that was 100% percent live. You can hear every word and feel the emotions along with it. HAHA, unlike those lip-sync stuff, Amy is so raw! Shes amazing!

I envy those girls who gets to huge Amy. HAHA, wish it was me!

BTW, is it me or did the ppl, including Amy, on the stage at the end look clueless? HAHA, they are just standing there waving their arms. HAHA, they should be dancing and going crazy, at least thats how ppl are over here. HAHA, not a moment of silence! And why did Amy leave b4 everyone did? I didnt see enough of her! AHAH

yea.. i have the song. haha that event is a concert that promotes canto songs (it seems like that to me thou. haha) anway it's in china guang zhou. haha the ppl doesn't look like true blue amy fans to me.

I don't blame them coz it's really hard to learn da traditional chinese characters. I know one friend dat learned chinese da old way & she herself said dat she rather study da simplified chinese dat is taught now coz she had a tough time. Her teacher was so strict dat she was mentally stressed out. So i guess dat's why a lot of people would want to learn da simplified version. Da people dat studied da traditional ones would one da next generation to learn da simplified one coz they know how hard it was to study da old way. It's sad dat in future da traditional chinese will be gone but wat to do da world is changing & people as u say go for da quick & easy.

HAHA, Steven Ma Jing Tao is very tall! He's almost Gilbert Lam's height, and Gilbert is 184cm - therefore it makes Steven about 180cm (at the least). Compared to ppl over here, 162cm is relatively short, but for the majority of Asians, its either normal height or just a tat bit taller. I am 165cm tall. :P Taller than most of my Asian friends (not that I have too much), but so much shorter than all my American friends. HAHA

Yes, The King of Yesterday and Tomorrow, you mean? I have most of her series. The only one I am missing is A Kindred Spirit, but I dont want to get it just to see 5 minutes of Maggie. The series is forever long! Not worth it! Otherwise I've gotten every Maggie produced series, I've just finished my collection a month ago when I bought all my Amy series. Its a pleasing feeling having collected all those series, I cant wait until I finish my Amy series collection too. A toast to that!

Honestly, searching for Maggie's series are much easier than Amy's, bc though Amy's series are amazing, there are soo many that are from the 80s, thus proven to be a challenge to locate. I still have to get like 5 more series to complete my set!

HAHA, fastfood are easy to eat and get. As I said, everyone wants to get things and go, no waitting - therefore fastfood is the best solution! IMO, its yuckie and oilly (not that I dont like them all, its just so many of them looks like a heart-attack on a bun) ^_^

Hey, dat's also da same reason i watch atv I only watch it bcoz of amy & no one else. I never even knew dat the heroine of the yang was an atv series. I was wondering why were da supporting cast was all unfamiliar to me. It took me somtime to figure out dat there was actually another tv company other then tvb.

To tell u da truth, i don't atv has done very good series since i don't know when. I think it was da last amy show with steven. Is it Fated Love or something?? Da one dat i didn't get.

Don't u watch english series??? I switch between da two so i hav a variety of things to watch. There r lots of english series dat r quite good.

HAHA, ATV has a few very talented ppl, but its just the script is so pathetic in so many element. And yes, they dont have the budget TVB has, so again, the quality of the series and customs, etc would always pose a threat to the outcome of a series (even with an extraordinary script)! Benny Chan Chiang Ping is worth the watch (I love him, he's so hot in LIAM)... Kenneth Chan is still hott, he's like 2 years younger than Amy I believe (But Amy still looks younger!)... Elina May ?? (forgot her name) - though a supporting actress, is definitely good! There are a few I can name, but yes, haha, not too much. But its no difference with TVB, I can only name Yoyo Mung, Maggie Cheung, Julian Cheung (sometimes), Nick Cheung (not often), Kwong Wah, Bobby Au Yeung, and that's about it - those are the only ones I would be willing to sit and watch now-a-days!

Well, dogs are cute, but I has an animal phobia, I would stand far from it to look, but if you get them close to me, I'll freak out. I still get goosebumps thinking about that horrific day! but of course, I would never eat them or kill them. Its cruel, but hey, some ppl think about that when we eat meat too, haha.

I totally agree dat snow is beautiful. Everything is so white & beautiful. I luv snow very much & once i managed to catch one in mind & da shape of it was so beautiful. TOo bad it melted away so fast. Da only thing i don't like when it's winter is da hail storm Dat is a killer, when it hits u it's so painful.

Well u can always go to hapenning places. Where can u go for an adventure in US?? U can always go to new york or chicago or somewhere like dat. But for ppl like me who experience with cold weather's during half the year, I bet I'd have to shed a few lbs if I went to live in Malaysia for a year or so. When I went back to VN for about 2 weeks, I lost like 8lbs, nothing less. HAHA, the heat was terrible! Every 5 steps I took, I felt like I was gonna die!

HAHA, I've been to too many places in the US, its boring! I mean, NY is so boring and crowded and poluted. I hate going there! Florida, too hot and boring! California, even worst. BORING! I love Canada though! HEHE, beautiful country!

I cannot believe it was a 10 years difference between TGOD & The Young Warriors. No wonder i feel so weird when i watch da two series. As u said it's pretty hard to adjust to difference but dat doesn't mean dat i'm not enjoying myself Yes, it's easier to make urself act & look older but to act younger when u r not at dat age can be quite tricky but our amy did it very well.
