Yeah, I rewatched the scene this morning. I know what you mean by that unforgetable smile. But I have to see if I can rip it from my laptop PC, if not I'll just see if I could sketch on for u! But, warning, I am not good with drawing custom series' sketches!

Jia Ming and Amy just look compatible. Everytime you see Yang Ye with Sai Hua, he acts so different, he's expressions are always so tender and caring. Very soft! HAHA, that's so rare!

The logan seed spitting was one of my favorite mother and sons scenes in the series. Its memorable, but goodness, when Sai Hua recalled the moment and fainted (after her sons and husband's death) my heart dropped to the bottom pit! Extremely heartbroken!

Thank u. Yes, she signed using chinese characters. I am trying to figure how u r going to learn how to sign dat. It's not easy. As jparadize said amy studied da traditional chinese so her signature can be quite complicated. Let me know how's ur progress in learning how to sign her name.

Very nice Linh, i like da sketch very much. I think u've done a very good job. To me i don't think u should accent da picture with any other thing. Is nice as it is. I wasnt too satisfied with the aura of the sketch, that was the most important part IMO - the carefree environment, but I did what I could!

I find it to be very humorous at how loudsy I am at colored art. :P I cant capture the essence of anything using colored pencils and crayons. I BASICALLY SUCKK AT THIS!

Honestly, I had the picture sketch of Amy in this pose in B&W a few days ago, but never finished it because I didnt really like how it looked. So I decided 2 nights ago, at around 4am, to try to color it in (since I didnt like it to begin with, messing it up wouldnt hurt, or would it ...) - Thus I started to do it, hahaha, but it was late and I was tired, so I guess I went crazy and delusional... I swore I was on something <- ME! So I picked up all the wrong colors! HAHA, I colored her entire hands yellow and her face in all the weirdest colors imaginable (pink, red, organe, peach, tan, light brown, you name it!)

HAHAHA, and her hair, not to mention - I had at least 6 different colors tried on her hair. HAHA, you should be able to tell!


Only one word can describe the portrait! DISATROUS! - and that only says one-one billionth of how horriblily insane I feel about it. HAHA!


THIS TEACHES ME A LESSON - NEVER EVER EVER EVER TOUCH COLOR! EVER! Next time I think about these kind of colored art, please I give you permission to shoot me down!

The article is a bit longer than usual so of course I dont understand every single thing. But I think I understood most of it. HEHE...

In the beginning the article mentioned something about "stars" being regarded as "stars and physical idols (LOOKS!)" <- kind of losing the sense of the real reason why they are where they are and doing what they are doing. They are entertainers at a personal level, it is their talents and their endless endeavors that earn them their fame, therefore looks isnt all! CORRECT? It also mentioned that Amy and one of her co-stars (Wang Ting Lin) are extremely determained and willful entertainers and because of their dedications and years of hard work, they've earned themselves the title they've gotten to be known as. These 2 (highlights) has joined up in the musical and through this and what they've done in the past - they've created their own FABLE! <- If I understood it correctly - that passage is really well said, I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!! And upon seeing Amy perform; dancing, singing and acting (the whole 9 yards) - the audiences would be in awe!

It also mentioned that Amy isnt old. <- HEHE, TRUE!

That Amy is young, very young, because she is confident in herself, therefore confident when ppl stare her down. Disregarding her age, she's a young person at heart <- That's how I like to put it to words.

Hmm, towards the middle, it mentioned Amy's 20-something years in the entertainment world. Being a veteran (with over 2 decades of experiences in the TV world) Amy has had many memorable eras, such as her performance in Love Story, her debut "Sweet as Cany (or something like that <- I love the MV to that song... HAHAHA, its so cute!)", of course we cannot forget her role in The Fate of the Clairvoyant, then in 2003 her part-take in the extremely sexy Chicago (whatever it was, advertisement? Was it?).

I'm not sure if I understand this part correctly, but it has a quote from Amy that has her mentioning the differences bw televsion and musical;

<- If I would be understanding it correctly, AMY says something about TV being heavily depended on looks and charms and deals greatly with an individual's own imaginations... Wheras a musical; is exposed to a raw script, music is live and specifically fitted for each scenes, and during the procedures, the ending is though scripted, the end result is an "UNKNOWN" - therefore making the entire process an enjoyment in itself. <- OK, I did use alot of my own imaginations in putting it into wordings I would understand... But did I get the basic right at least? HAHA

Hmm, the ending is kind of hard to understand, but lets just wrap it up saying that Amy had taken dance classes b4, but lacks the needs, so she quits and learnt it on her own at the gym. But bc of the musical she went back to the professional trainers and hopefully gets better and better. <- That's just me shortening it into my own version (who knows?)

Yes, The King of Yesterday and Tomorrow, you mean? I have most of her series. The only one I am missing is A Kindred Spirit, but I dont want to get it just to see 5 minutes of Maggie. The series is forever long! Not worth it! Otherwise I've gotten every Maggie produced series, I've just finished my collection a month ago when I bought all my Amy series. Its a pleasing feeling having collected all those series, I cant wait until I finish my Amy series collection too. A toast to that!

Honestly, searching for Maggie's series are much easier than Amy's, bc though Amy's series are amazing, there are soo many that are from the 80s, thus proven to be a challenge to locate. I still have to get like 5 more series to complete my set!

HAHA, fastfood are easy to eat and get. As I said, everyone wants to get things and go, no waitting - therefore fastfood is the best solution! IMO, its yuckie and oilly (not that I dont like them all, its just so many of them looks like a heart-attack on a bun) ^_^

I agree dat it's harder to collect amy's series as she has a lot of old series. In some of those series she was so young. I just cannot get used to seing her being so young

HAHA, ATV has a few very talented ppl, but its just the script is so pathetic in so many element. And yes, they dont have the budget TVB has, so again, the quality of the series and customs, etc would always pose a threat to the outcome of a series (even with an extraordinary script)! Benny Chan Chiang Ping is worth the watch (I love him, he's so hot in LIAM)... Kenneth Chan is still hott, he's like 2 years younger than Amy I believe (But Amy still looks younger!)... Elina May ?? (forgot her name) - though a supporting actress, is definitely good! There are a few I can name, but yes, haha, not too much. But its no difference with TVB, I can only name Yoyo Mung, Maggie Cheung, Julian Cheung (sometimes), Nick Cheung (not often), Kwong Wah, Bobby Au Yeung, and that's about it - those are the only ones I would be willing to sit and watch now-a-days!

Yes, I watch American TV shows/series. But I dont watch anything faithfully! I used to watch "Friends" and "Will and Grace" faithfully, but the 2 shows ended already. So yeah, I lay around in my room when I am not doing anything! HAHA, that's why I am getting thicker and thicker. I have no life!

I don't know atv actors & actresses. ACtually i only know them by face & not by name as i hate watching atv series with da exception of few of amy's series To tell u da truth i cannot stand watching atv's series, i tried once or twice but da quality of da series is just too weird for me. I don't doubt dat they hav some good story line but da quality drives me away.

ON da other hand, i know quite a number of tvb actors & actresses by name. I see dat u rather watch da older tvb actors & actresses series. I guess i'm not as fussy as u I still giv da young ones a chance. I only hav problem with da newer ones dat came in fr 2005 onwards. Some of them r not even nice to look at & plus they cannot even act

Hmm i watch loads of english series. AT da moment they r all finished for da current season. Waiting for a couple more weeks for da new seasons to come out Then i won't be bored. I hate it when they stop for a few months, at those time i don't even know wat to watch. I'll download stupid series to just pass time

Well, dogs are cute, but I has an animal phobia, I would stand far from it to look, but if you get them close to me, I'll freak out. HAHA, only those small small dogs I can touch, otherwise i was taunted by my childhood experience. When I was younger I got beaten down by a neighbor's dog, twice my size. I still get goosebumps thinking about that horrific day! but of course, I would never eat them or kill them. Its cruel, but hey, some ppl think about that when we eat meat too, haha.

Sometimes to think about how animals r killed for us to eat is pretty sad. At times when i see a chicken being slaughtered & da way it screams for help makes me very sad. AT those time i wish i'm a vegetarian but if i don't see it get slaughtered then it's not so bad. Do u think dat's why many people r vegetarian nowadays???
