    More under the cut…

Here she is with cinematographer Peter Pau (Oscar winner for Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) in front of the green screen…

I think the little screen time in TFK is actually her advantage. Because of little screen time and mesmerizing look, onlookers would be more eager to search about her and get to know more about her via the Internet.

Jacky mentioned what it was like working with LBB and how amazed he was by her excellence; acting, looks, advertisement, etc. He really does seem to praise LBB a lot, as compared to LYF. Is he playing favorites? LOLZ!
Haha, he did kinda dedicated 1/2 of this post to LBB huh? His post truly gave me new insights into what a pro LBB is.

    I wholesomely agree!

On one part, I am bummed that her screen time is so limited. I mean, I've known how gorgeous and talented she is, so that's a lost that I couldn't see her. But on the other hand, when I think about it. Giving her little screen time, as you've said, makes others want to know more about her, thus they'll search her.

In one way its bad because I can't see more, but in a more productive way, she's gaining more fans. Which to me, means more than just seeing her more. ^_^ Though I'd love both!

HAHA, yeah, that was really sweet of him, isn't it?

I mean, its rather obvious who he admires the most; in comparing the 2 female leads. ^_^

Li Bing Bing had to re-record her English for better pronounciation. You can watch the video here (in other words, she did her own dubbing lol better than somebody else doing it so good for her)

LOLZ... I just saw that too... You were a few minutes ahead of me. ^_^ Thanks for uploading!

Now we've gotten the issue resolved. LBB did get the voice dubbed, but she did it for herself. HOW CUTE?!

After knowing that this was the first time LBB ever really spoken English, my brother fell in love with BB even more. He said that her voice was demonish, but in a way, VERY SEXY and GENTLE! HAHAHA, I don't know about sexy but it is very very very impressive! Her accent is definitely not as deep as LYF and ZZY; which is GREAT! Though she does pronounce some words "oddly" I'll give her 2 thumbs up for trying hard, especially for a first timer! ^_^

Are you serious that LYF was born in the U.S.? I saw a clip of her and LBB fighting scene in Forbidden Kingdom, and her English was barely understandable! Compared to LBB, her English was much worst!

HAHAHAHA, if you pay attention, even though LYF's English wasn't perfect, it was tolerable! She spoke it with ease, though her tone wasn't exactly "hitting the nail on the head" with the pronounciation. Though it was good, it was weak for a person with her background, I agree, wholly! But you really have to keep in mind, LBB had her voice DUBBED (even though it was herself, she did have a second hit at the ball... so you have to give LYF credit in that aspect).

But as a fan of LBB, I was definitely pleased that her English was so well performed! HEHE, I can't help but gush out to everyone I know that this was her first time speaking English in a movie and that she took lesson to learn English; and it hasn't even been half a year since. It feels great to tell others that. LOLZ, I am a little gushy about these things, but hey, that's an accomplished feeling you cannot stripe from a fan, HUH?

LYF was not born in USA
she was born in China..and went to USA after their parents divorced. According to the info, she went USA in 1998 and back to China in 2002. But other info said she went USA right after graduated elementary school(200). Don't know which one is true since too many rumor about her.
don't care she lived in USA 3 years or 5 years..her english isn't good

Anyway, LBB's english very good though she never lived outside of China.

Well, I once came across a blog of this guy who had his picture w/ LBB posted up, and I was curious to find out who he was. Turned out, he was LBB's tutor for The Forbidden Kingdom debut. He said that she was "picky" "fast-tempered" and "hard-working"....it's no wonder that she learned so fast and spoke so well!
