The only line that I really thought LBB failed to execute beautifully was:

"A misfaith following a misfaith, in hopes of rescuing a misfaith!" - Personally I love that line, but her pronoucation of "misfaith" is rather poor. I really didn't understand it at first, but after hearing it the second time, I think I got it right. LOLZ... Otherwise, I don't think I've gotten a probably with any other line...


My favorite White Hair Demonese line was:
Sparrow: "I will kill you... WITCH!"
White Hair Demonese: "Not if I kill you first... Orphan B*tch"

LOLZ, that line got me and my brother RALLYING and PARADE, hahaha... Totally unexpected, IMO! My brother was yelling bloody murder, which was hilarious! Who doesn't love a naughty girl? ^_^

She said it in an interview quite long ago, I think it was with some English speaking interviewers.

LOLZ... That'll make more sense, you are correct! ^_^ After hearing it again, I think you're right. When she said "A misfit following a misfit, only to be rescued a misfit" - whenever she said the "misfit" it was short and the tone not low enough to mean "misfaith." It technically didn't end with a "th" sound, so you may just be CORRECT!

We'll see when the movie releases, which I would definitely go BUY!

It is definitely not "mishap," when LBB pronounced the word, it had the "f" sound... You can actually hear the line again on the tudou link (the one where LBB dubbed her own voice) from PAGE 19 of the thread.

Sparrow (LYF) speaks in the 3rd person perspective almost entirely; this meaning, she likes to refer to herself as "SHE." If you paid attention to her dialogue, whenever she referenced herself she would use the word "SHE."

And example of her 3rd person tone usage was when she was telling the gang about her childhood and how her family was murdered; she started out with the story using... "When she was young..." and phrases such as "HER family" etc.


I personally don't understand fully why Sparrow speaks in the 3rd person narrative, but I personally like it. My interperation is that she doesn't want to give herself a reason to be vulnerably.

Whenever she spoke of herself to Jason and the others alike, she uses "SHE" and "HER" almost all throughout the movie, until the very end, with the "I LOVE YOU!"

To me, the reason Sparrow chose to speak in the 3rd person tone was not because of LYF's ignorance in English, but it is deliberate! Whenever Sparrow spoke of herself in the 3rd person tone, it illude you to believe in herself as a NARRATOR, rather than the main protagonist mentioned in each of her story. Rather than pitying the NARRATOR, we pitied the poor defensely child who's father was stripe of his life due to his bravery, who's mother was killed by the jaded arrow of the Jade warlord, and who's home was deminished in the war between a ruthless god and a mortal man.

I personally felt that Sparrow's narrative was capivating and very surreal. It made me pity the character even more; because instead of seeing herself as a pitiful child, she speaks of herself as a mediator who lives only to seek revenge; other than that, she knows NOTHING MORE!

It is as if SPARROW is only a name, a ghost who lives for one purpose and one purpose only; TO TAKE VENGENCE!

In a way, I think the scriptwriter wants the real Sparrow (the young girl in the wheel) to be seen as a dead person (who died along with her family), and instead Sparrow is her living spirit who wouldn't rest unless what she lives for is taken care of.


Am I making any sense? LOLZ, anyways, that's just my interperation. Who knows what the real story is.



Anyways... I do find myself loving the character of Sparrow, but I personally thought the acting was still too weak. LYF wasn't able to deliver the hardship, the determination, and the overall wilt of the young girl. ^_^ But she was CUTE! LOLZ!

for some reason i just didn't like Liu yi fei char in the forbidden kingdom.maybe i was hoping for to much of liu yi fei that why i didnt like her char that much, but Li bing bing really surprise me with her acting and her eng still cant believe she can learn Eng that quick guess she really want to do well in the movie even though she didn't have much screen time and this is the first time that she really have to speak Eng
