    H. Pylori is pretty bad. Treatment is 8 big pills/capsules a day.

But it is curable, just a pain in the ***.

However, if left untreated it can lead to a ulcer

i have it pretty much all day, and it stops about an hour before i go to bed. food doesn't make it worse. when i eat, it goes away, but comes back about 15 minutes after i'm done. and i haven't tried any medication for it. it's not that bad. bearable, just not very pleasant.

recent illness? well, 2 days ago i imbided a little too much alcohol and got sick, but i was feeling unwell before that already. i'm actually going to a doctor tomorrow, but to a dermatologist for something completely unrelated.

ha ha, and nausea = pregnancy? this is not a tvb serial.
    Are you on any medications?

So in summary - constant feeling of mild nausea, relieved slightly by food - no other symptoms - pain, bowel habit change, dizzyness, systemic symptoms. Headaches - not sure if relevant - do they make the nausea worse, when did they begin? No relevant past history.

haha, I looked at HYS's sites - they are awesome.

Can you tell me what happened at the GP?

You really should go see a doc. And maybe take a break from work. What are your sleeping habits on weekends?

pretty much. it's like i always feel like i'm about to throw up, but never do. headaches don't make the nausea worse. i think i just get those because stupid people make me angry.

i'm guessing this question isn't directed towards me. if it is, i have no idea what you're asking.

Yittz, just a quick question: Have you had any contact with sensory processing disorder in young children? Such as having been in a clinical/rehabilitative situation with them? I've had contact with some very serious cases (manifesting as part of a larger body of dysfunctions) in the past, but none with the milder varieties. Right now, I have a student whose behaviours seem to point to some (topical) sensory processing dysfunction, but I'd like to be a bit more certain (e.g. by discussing my observations with someone in the know) before suggesting that his parents take him to an occupational therapist for sensory integration. Many thanks in advance.

    No worries, doc!
If you are interested, I could PM/email you my observations and we can talk about it. I'll be writing it up anyway, if not for the child's parents, then for his personal file, since he's probably going to be in school with us for another 3 years.

Where does HS live? I'll go see him.

No, I can't afford to take a break from work. I have 2 car payments, mortgage, credit card bills, and other house bills. Wanna send me a check for $2,000.00? I can take a week off if you do.

It doesn't matter what day it is, it's all the same. I can't sleep.

Yes! For the last 3-4 weeks, I haven't gone to bed before 6am.
Although it may not be your normal sleep habit...It is pretty common for pple getting off at midnight and not sleeping till around 6am. It's as if their nights are now their days and their days their nights. Ofcourse...you'd still need your 7-8hrs rest.

Although I am not a professional in the medical field, I am a professional sleeper.

What gets me drowsy or help me sleep:

Besides beer, hot cocoa and I know it's not good to eat b4 bed but some warm soup. Either ramen or clam chowder gets me pretty drowsy.

Then also try them "sounds of nature" or "relaxing sound" cds. My favorite is rain forrest sounds. You got your rain dropping, frogs calling...ahhh...puts me to sleep rite away. Classical music works too.

    If all fails...think of LuNar.
Due to several complaints, I will stop using the terms "Babe" and "Baby" in reference to our female counterpart. They will now be replaced with "B*tch."

    Yikes! I don't drink beer!
I can't drink cocoa or else my throat gets itchy and I'll cough all night.
I do eat ramen when I get home. But it doesn't work.
And I don't eat clam chowder.

Tried that and it failed. The noises make me think a lot.

When I need complete silence or do not want to be disturbed while asleep....I use ear plugs.(Usually when sleeping during the daytime) I use ear plugs and a dark t-shirt over my eyes.

And like others have suggested...a comfortable room. Temperature, lighting, pillow height.

If you really need to sleep and can't, there may be only one quick solution.

    Knock yourself unconscious

    I'm kind of serious

Caution: Benadryl can be quite addicting. I know someone who's addicted to this and relied on it each night to fall asleep. It's not a good long term solution.
