Default Little Dragon Girl's hing gung better than the Greats'?

Although the Greats were far superior to Little Dragon Girl in martial arts in general, do you believe that her hing gung (lightness skills) was even better than theirs? As five of the greatest martial artists in the world, the Greats naturally had excellent hing gung, but only Central Divinity Wong Chung Yeung and Iron Palm Union Chief Kau Cheen Yan had specialized hing gung skills, and even theirs seemed inferior to that of the Ancient Tomb Sect. Hing gung seemed to be an Ancient Tomb Sect specialty, and what they lacked compared to the Greats in raw power they seemed to compensate for with superior hing gung (which is why Little Dragon Girl often found herself able to hold her own even against superior fighters like the Golden Wheel Monk).

    Different types of Qinggong:

    Jumping (height)

    Running (speed)
    - Running Qinggong is further divided into long-distance, short-distance etc.

Levitation (decrease of weight while in a stationary position like standing or seated)

    Climbing

    ...

I see. So do we know whether people concentrate on certain aspects of Qinggon or do you "level up" pretty evenly between these different types? Such as Little Dragon Girl, she is obviously fast, maybe comparable to a Great, but would her jumping and levitation qinggong be as good as a Great? Maybe she just specializes in speed but not in the other types of Qinggong.

she should be a hella faster than the Greats. can you imagine a Great moving so fast that Golden Wheel Monk can't even see him clearly, not to mention keeping up?

dragon girl had superior technique but inner strength makes a difference. she lost to qiu qiren in light skill but that was because he had better inner energy.against some with the same level of inner energy her superior techinque means she will win.

yes, after dragon girl was hit with the frosty needles by guo fu by mistake they left with guo xiang to a snowy mountain where they met rev.yideng and qqr. qqr went nuts and tried to kill yideng but yideng would fight back.yang guo intervened and defeated qqr.then he asked rev.yideng to save dragon girl and he gave her a pill that halted the poison temporily. they went to loveless valley together and on the way dragon girl started running ahead as she felt better after taking the pill. when qqr saw her light skill was so good he challenged her.dragon girl could not catch up till zou butong appered.he threw her on top of his chest containing jade bees that he caught and ran behind qqr for an hour till he slowed down.then dragon girl ran past and won but with zhou butong's help.sorry for the spoiler if you haven't read this part yet.

The Ancient Tomb disciples were very good at lightness kungfu in a narrow space, since they spent their lives in a small dark area (the tomb). That is a different type of lightness kungfu. In HSDS, Wei Yi Xiao (the Bat King) was #1 in that area. Not even ZWJ could match him. In a wide open area, ZWJ would probably beat him due to superior inner power but in a small room, he was the champion. We all know how much better ZWJ or other top fighters in HSDS were compared to WYX.

What do you mean by lightness kungfu in a small area and in open space? Small space=straight running and open space=running and jumping, etc.?

Small space is more like horizontal, sideways, spurts of movement such that in the immediate vicinity of an opponent you appear to be extremely fast. Open space is more like long distance over a greater magnitude. Think of it like this, a bee is really fast because it zips around all over the place and is pretty hard to catch, see, hit. But if a bee were to race along side a cheetah, it would lose pretty badly. They're just different kinds of speed.

Ahh, so how about Duan Yu's hing gung. Do you think hing gung are number 1 in jumping, running, levitation???
    Howbout Xu Zhu's hing gung.
Duan Yu & Xu Zhu hing gung are from the same sector but different type.
So in the term of running DY or ZX faster??

Hmmm measuring the three sworn brothers against each other is a messy task as they were all so intangible in their skills in one way or another. Well, we know DY matched XF's qing gong in a straight dash, so they should be about equal. For some reason I would have to say XZ is faster than them both though with his ridiculous inner strength.

Xu Zhu > Duan Yu = Xiao Feng
