Jerry Yan became a spokesperson for a oral health care product before his fans in a Hong Kong event. He underwent dental check-up in Hong Kong, and praised Jerry for having a hundred tooth parts. generously well capable of sharing a hundred smiles.

Jerry Yan has plans already for his future career moves.

Taiwanese group F4 rised its way leaning against the "Meteor Garden" suit, who became popular all over Asia, and recently advanced to the Japanese market. However, following the shooting of "Meteor Garden 2," the four members reached and held the whole concert tour meets later, and the four each went to shoot their own serials, movies and concerts. For these reasons, they are often became the topic for many rumors and news. Finally, a few days ago, there were talks that Jerry Yan (Bao Long) already broke away from F4, to set up his own company, his "solo-flight" independent career move. There are estimates that Jerry's departure will create not just a few effects to his three remaining co-members' projects.


Too many actors and managers


Breaking from F4, becoming popular later, has something to do with the opening of many continuous separating-from-the-manager rumors. Focusing all along to his projects, and having his own plans, Jerry felt that there are too many actors being handled by company managers, thus giving him the idea of setting up his own production business. Jerry contract expired last August. The other day, there were news indicating that he already broke away from F4 to set up his own company but according to his volunteer manager's statement, he still hasnt broke away form F4, and presently carrying out several organized events. In addition, Jerry will set up his own studio location in Shanghai, so that he can penetrate the inland market.

Jerry's solo-flight later and being his own boss is his biggest benefit , not necessarily having a manager to draw out commissions again, thus his gains will be even more. However, his independent growth has direct effects to his three remaining co-members in F4 projects, because later on the four men will again work together, and no matter what time or rewards all would have will become the biggest problem like in next year's plan to release their 3rd and 5th year anniversary album and their 10 concert tours. If Jerry will be unable to coordinate, all project plans will end in failure. For this, his remaining co-members "money" will be affected.

Jerry Yan’s plan of establishing his own company who was also reported that he is leaving F4 became the hottest issue among the reporters. But as his new TV Series started its filming, he was with his Fu Long assistant all the time, it shows that his relationship with his former manager is harmonious and there will still be collaborations with F4 in the future.

Jerry revealed that he has discontinued his contract with Fu Long a few days ago and started his own company [STAR JERRY], this postponed the big [REUNION] of F4 next year. While Jerry showed up in Taipei the day before, his mood is quite good as he started filming for his new series [The Hospital], even though reports were spreading that he already left Fu Long, but he was still accompanied by his old management’s assistant, Jerry is really a gentleman, he carried two bags full of his costumes and make-up kits etc, so that his assistant won’t have a hard time carrying his luggage.

When reporters asked if he’s to leave the group, he smiled and said: [Why will I go solo?] Then he was asked again about his plans for his new established company, his smile never went away and answered the same phrase: [Why will I go solo?] Jerry has repeated this phrase for three times.

For clarifications, even though Jerry and Fu Long do not have any contracts, but his relationship with his manager Ke Fu Hong is very good, current new manager Liu Wei Ci is Ke Fu Hong’s buddy. Ke Fu Hong explained in behalf of Jerry: [Jerry Yan will not open his own company, F4 will not disband, in fact, the four of them will be having a concert and a lot of projects are lined up for them.] Jerry’s new manager Liu Wei Ci also clarified that Jerry did not leave F4, Liu Wei Ci admitted: [Jerry and I only exists a friendly compromise, I am not going to receive any manager’s commission, I only hope that Jerry can go through the international market.]

Aside from these, Jerry was asked if he really gave her rumored girlfriend a little dog, Jerry smiled but did not reply.

Aside from that , Jerry was said to have bought a car worth 5 million NT$, a second hand Lamborghini sportscar.

A very thrifty Jerry, from the beginning of his career until now he just uses a scooter as a form of transportation, now he’s driving an old Ford model. A few days back Jerry and his assistant went to see some cars, he had eyes for the second hand Lamborghini, but when he was informed that it was worth 5 million NT$, he exclaimed it was too expensive and said the he will be thinking about it. Looks like Jerry’s not planning to buy a car yet, while going to work he is still his old self, riding the taxi as a form of transportation, when he was asked about buying a car, Jerry did not admit, but he lowered his head and smiled.

Although his contract with the management company has ended, Jerry will not leave F4. F4 fans can finally be relieved.

Rumours of F4 separating have been flying around. Yesterday, there was a new version of speaking. According to reports, Jerry would be first to go solo. Currently, he have already set up his own company and got his good friend, Liu Wei Ci to be his manager and even set up a office in Shanghai in order to start up the industry in China. The biggest benefit of this would be that his money would not be eaten up by the company but everything goes into his pocket.

However, F4's manager, Zhi Xiang Li denied this. He revealed to the reporter that Jerry's contract has indeed ended but he will not leave F4.

Mr Zhi said, "We're still close on both ends and everyone would continue to work together. Around him, it's still our assistants, there's no such thing as going solo or unhappy about the money thingy. " Speaking about Liu Wei Ci, who helps Jerry handle everything, Mr Zhi said he is only Jerry's good friend. He also revealed that the contract matters are still under negotiation however, they are having good interaction.

F4 is not a group so since his contract has ended, he won't be tied down to fly ? Mr Zhi expressed, Although F4 is not a fixed group, but they will never be separated just like that. FuLong not only has the 4 handsome hunk's management contracts, they also have the rights to the 4 of them as a whole. "They are still with the F4 tab, Jerry's individual contract has ended, but their contract of the 4 together hasn't ended. Thus, they'll still need to attend to the needs of events of the 4 together."

He also revealed that they have many job onhand next year. They are preparing to do the F4 album for their 5th annivesary and also do a world tour concert of more than 10 stages.

In shooting for commercials, Jerry fully puts his feelings into the scene

Jerry is not just a handsome face, even his hands has a “star” value. In filming a jewelry commercial, his unblemished long hands allowed the company to prepare for a “hand replacement” for Wu Yong Wu’s hands. When Jerry was shooting the advertisement, even if the camera didn’t shoot all his face, insisted he must wave. When he put his ten fingers and moved them like wishing Happy New Year, the staff unexpectedly found out that Jerry has a pair of “beautiful woman’s” hands, with fingers not just long and with no bones curving out, even more had no scars, that Jerry laughed and said,” Even my hands are all handsome.”

Jerry, to enable himself to be engrossed with the feelings for the scenes, he carries an MP3 player everyday, likes radio music, to guide him in the filming mood and emotions. Jerry said, “I listen to a wide array of music, from classical ballads, new age, romantic love songs, hip hop and pop music.... I like them all.” But one of the stage directors wanted him to show his feelings in missing somebody with tears in the scene, and under his music to urge his deep love, tears like water faucet immediately snatched his eyes as he entered the scene. He proudly said, “ Luckily, my acting skills have not yet subsided.”
