I think that the movie is one of the best from Hong Kong in recent years. My favourite scenes are the ones when the police went to ambush the hideouts of the villains and got all of them except Jacky killed. The movie is action-packed and the storyline is good too, not the usual plain cops versus the bad guys plot. It might also attract many young viewers due to the inclusion of many young actors in its cast. Daniel Wu is great!

Overall, I like this movie a lot. Jackie Chan really deserves his upmost fame not just as an action (and funny) figure but also as an ACTOR. It was a really good acting performance by Jackie. The supporting casts were fine, pretty convincing and the plot was above par, imo.

Jacky's shows shot in HK are usually good. It's his white man movies that are really dumb since white man can't do actioners the way HK and China can.

I had really high hopes for this movie and having watched it today I loved it!!!

The actions scenes are really good although the first few scenes were sad especially when Jackie's men died..

Daniel Wu was really good in acting as a villain. I like Nic Tse's character, he was very cute!

One the funniest part is when both Jackie and Nic got out of jail, then Nic walked into that bin hehe. That was so funny!

I thought it was funny when Nic yells out "YOU'RE MY MAN!!!"

I love this movie and I'm going to rewatch it again.
Have you learned to love one another?

I think Daniel Wu is one of the more underrated actors in HK... ya he has a pretty face and that accent but he can act both good and bad.... not like for example other teen heart throb.

And ya I like this movie... I just don't like Jackie Chan crying so much...

You all have got to be kidding me?
In my honest opinion, i really thought this movie sucked.
I watched it quite a while ago, but was really unimpressed.
Storyline was really hard to believe.
Come on, thieves imitating video games?
That bus scene was also totally whack, as if that could possibly happen. It just looked bloody expensive.
There wasnt enough time focused on character development. Jackies relationship with his girlfriend was a partial movie romance that had gone horribly wrong. Jackie tries way to hard to show an emotional side to his acting in this movie. Stick to the stunts and fight scenes Jackie, thats what we've all grown to know and respect you for.
So many other aspects of this movie just plain sucked.
If your into watching some flashy action scenes with Jackie Chan type fighting sequences than this is the movie for you. But I wouldnt recommend it for those who actually enjoy a movie with a well-developed storyline and meaningful plot which this movie sorely lacks.

that 's not to cast aspersions on the man's acting ability. on occasions he can be counted on to deliver. but playing a movie cop he remains just that---a movie cop.
make no diff be it hk or US produced

u are better off with his earlier period kungfu works.

Chinese Martial Arts that was in the earlier times makes the action more real and fun to watch

i loved this movie...must have watched it at least 3 times...

its way better than the stupid hollywood movies that hes made such as the tuxedo and around the world in 80 days...

and i mean...you cant really expect one of jackie chan's older movies with all that action...jackie chan has to be at least 50 something now...

I've never even heard of this movie... is it new or something? To tell you the truth, I'm a little tired of seeing Jackie Chan playing the same kind of role over and over again.

Of course, this Police story can not compare to the others.. but you got to give it more credit. Look at some other Hk movies.. , ( i.e Twins Effect). This had a decent story line compared to some movies that came out in 2004
