Honestly I don't really want him to play Meng. This is a series with a focus on the female lead based on the novel. Also, Meng was on wheelchair and had a bitter love toward the female lead but didn't get the same love in return. After seeing him as Lian Cheng, I don't want a broken heart again. One is already too much!

Honestly I don't really want him to play Meng. This is a series with a focus on the female lead based on the novel. Also, Meng was on wheelchair and had a bitter love toward the female lead but didn't get the same love in return. After seeing him as Lian Cheng, I don't want a broken heart again. One is already too much!

When Jin Yu did give him her heart, he rejected because he thought he couldn't give her what she desired. Jin Yu didn't care about his disability, but no matter how much she said that, he still thought that it would affect their relationship. Only when Jin Yu started reciprocating Huo Qu Bing's love did he find out that he couldn't live without her (dramatic wording). Alas, all was too late. By the time he realised, Jin Yu only saw him as a friend/confidante.

I still ship Jin Yu and Huo Qu Bing though. What I feel for Meng Jiu is only pity. I guess what made me ship HQB and JY together was the way Tong Hua made him seem in the book-waiting for Jin Yu to reciprocate his love, not forcing her and ruining her and Meng Jiu's relationship.

Even so, I'm still supporting the HuHuoShi/HuHuoYan cast, wholly because of the pairings, not the character personalities from the book.

The posters are beautiful! Be great if Wallace, LSS and Hu Ge all star in a drama again. Those good old times in CP3. But my understanding is that Wallace still hasn't decided whether he will play a role in DMY. Also, if he does which role he will play. This Meng's role is so much similar to his role in QSHF and he generally doesn't want to do similar roles over again...
