PS by a fan, lol. In fact this is the original look for Li Ge Xiao (in Strange Hero) but Wallace ditched it! I think he looks kind of like Yi Dao in TXDY.

Hi lazycat, welcome to Wallace's thread...It's good to see Wallace gains new fan everyday. The man is underrated in my opinion.

It's good too that Wallace ditched his original look and go for the scruffy look, otherwise we will see Yi Dao again in Strange hero...

I can see that Wallace doesnt hesitate to look rugged, scruffy and unattractive if not ugly for his roles. There are lots of actors and actresses are not willing to give up their beautiful image for a role. What a true actor indeed.

Because of this behavior fans hate him and love him at the same time... he looks handsome at one time and ugly the next time. No matter how fans want him to look good he just wanted to put bronzer on his face (in Strange Hero and even more in Xing Ming Shi Ye!!!!!!!! Also, in XMSY he put eyeliner which made him panda eyes ==). During an interview he said he wanted to dress up for the roles, not for fans' wishes! Ah... but Huo mis agreed this is the reason we love him the most... He is honest and is not pretending. His number of fans is growing in Mainland China.

He did look like Yi Dao in this pic (I thought Yi Dao's head was pasted in this pic)! Am glad that Wallace went for the Li Ge Xiao look otherwise we won't have the unique LGX! Ha, now I can see that Wallace did know what a role is needed. The scruffy LGX's look drew a lot of bad comments when the role was introduced. But after the drama was aired, fans love it! Similarly for the Jack Sparrow look of Meng Tian Chu, it was a "what's the heck" when fans saw the first post. Ummm, I hope this one will be a big hit when the drama is aired...
