He didn't say he "let go" of someone but instead of saying someone "gave up" on him.

I had been too excited about all the info out there about Wallace these few days (particularly reading all the comments on weibo and forum). I guess all houmis have been quite anxious as well. But I'm calm down now and whatever the outcome is I'll support Wallace as usual.

It seems that Wallace has decided to become Yu Zheng's Ling Hu Chong, and not Karen's Meng Jiu. Although all the Huo mis are sighing in relief though. (by He.Ge-Shshi's fan)

Indeed. Meng Jiu is a piece of cake for Wallace.

I remember a fan asked him so far what's your most satisfying role during his stay in Shenzhen. Wallace answered none. He said he needs to keep this state of mind so that he can further advance himself.

I hope she is not mad at Wallace. But Wallace really doesn't owe Tang Ren anything. They treated him badly during his filming of Strange Hero, limited promotion and had it aired in the less favorable Shenzhen Channel. But to their surprise Shenzhen Channel ranked 6th in viewer rating in China and it's the best rating the Channel ever had....

I'm sure Wallace really doesn't mind about it and he has maintained a good relationship with TR. Ling Hu Chong is just a role too irresistible to him. If the drama turns out well it could become his representative work. I hope the next time if someone asks him what's your best role at least he could name one...

He wasn't looking his best in the iEasy clip because he purposely lost weight for XMSY. Those photos were taken during the last stage of filming. People who visited him at the XMSY site said he has gained back his weight a bit by now. After 1 month he finished XMSY he was still very slim when I saw him in Shenzhen. I hope he'll gain back to a normal weight for the LHC role (not confirmed yet).

Tobeme: what happened to Wallace during Strange Hero? Karen was the producer of this drama, why didnt she give it a proper promotion? She wanted it to be a success did she not? Without proper promotion how could they achieve what they were looking for? Wallace is really a nice guy, why they are treating him so bad? He has problem during filming with Nicky Wu too. Poor Wallace.

Those photos up there looked like stalking photos, It's really scary, I hope people and Huo mi respect Wallace's privacy and give him a break. It wasnt official event, he should be left alone to be able to take a stroll down the road without interrupt or stalking by other people and fans.

I would feel really uncomfortable if somebody is stalking, taking my photo and upload on the internet without my permission while I was out about.

But somehow I think a few of my pictures are better those taking by iEasy, lol? Wallace's face generally became stiff when he knew he's being photographed formally (very obvious from his photos taken with fans). His best shots are when he's unaware of being photographed.

I do think Strange Hero was pretty well promoted and it "上星＂straight away, i.e. was broadcasted on two top satellite channels (=nationwide audience, rather than an area channel which goes only to its particular residents). Even CP3 went on an area channel first before a nationwide satellite channel. But Strange Hero was broadcasted about the same time as Gong/Jade Palace Lock Heart on Hunan TV which had way more hype and stole the majority of audience ratings, so all the media clammered to interview FengMi rather than other series' cast. In any case, Strange Hero garnered quite a strong following and counts as one of Tangren's 4th most successful series after BBJX, CP1 and CP3.

Yes, I think so especially this time if they release him to play LHC (seems so from Karen's weibo and Yu Zheng's weibo). Gong did come strongly during that time.

I think Wallace does get along quite well with most of the people of TR. He and Hu Ge are good friends in particular. Even director Li Guo Li likes him. Li was the one insisted Wallace to play in CP3 and later got him to play in Strange Hero. I guess they might have discussing about signing him into TR, lol.

Well, Yu Zheng did say he will keep to the spirit of the original SPW. To give Yu Zheng credit, his series are always pretty addictive. Notorious series like Gong that have all those plotholes and dog blood are usually his own flawed original scripts. So long as he adapts from a well known classic and keeps most of the original story, I think this SPW would be a must-see adaption. I just hope it won't be Joe Chen as Ren Ying Ying *face palm*
