I think Wallace has pass the stage where he can play Yang Guo now, although I found Huang XiaoMing kinda old when he played Yang Guo a few years back, when he was like 29 or something, and the drama was pretty horrible. I sat through it up to HXM first appeared and that was about it.

I dont like Yang Guo though, I find him kinda arrogant and snobbish, I dont know or maybe HXM who played that role made me feel that way. My favourite Yin Jong's character is LHC, and until the official news of Wallace playing LHC I am holding my breath here and if it is true then you know how I will be feeling.

Hmm too many people want to play this role, I heard from beginning that Yu Zheng wanted Mickey He to play LHC but dont know why he changed his mind now, well it is really good that he changed his mind, I cant picture Mickey He plays this role, he isnt a good actor yet to play this role.

I believe there is a Andy Liu version? I heard it's a classic. There could probably a Jacky Liu classic of LHC but I believe it has been around for a while already? It's actually quite a good time to film LHC.

HG actually first stated in a LOCH interview years ago (2008 or 2009?) that his favourite JY character is LHC, but that he never got a chance to play it. Anyways, Wallace is definitely a better choice for LHC than Mickey. I just cannot imagine Mickey playing a character from a wuxia novel.

Now fans are starting to worry what LHC would look like. All hope for a handsome LHC, rather than someone likes LGX. But I don't think Yu Zheng will allow that to happen though given his dramas are quite extravagant.

Not necessarily true. Prime example is Wallace Chung in Rose Martial World. Bad hair AND bad clothes. Poor SFF had horrible makeup too. Plus, the costumes in Gong looked cheap and flimsy. So aside from the cast, I don't see what all the hype is about regarding Yu Zheng's "extravagant" productions.

Oh, I don't normally pay attention to Yu's dramas, let along the details. In fact, I hope LHC won't be destroyed in his hands. After all it's a Jin Yong novel and with Wallace in it. As long as he sticks with the novel without making substantial changes, I think it should be fine.

I still think he looks his best among the cities he'd been during the CSKJB's promo tour. All over China it was cold during his tour but somehow on the day he visited Shenzhen the weather was very warm! Almost 10 dc warmer. The days before and after were very cold. It's quite strange. He's quite good looking with this new hairdo and without bulky cloths.

You know what, Singapore ever filmed Xiao Ao before and Ma Jingdao starred as LHC in it. Till now I cannot forget his hideous curly hair lol

Nah, if Steve Ma Jing Tao and Richie Ren can pass for LHC, then I'm 100% sure Wallace will be fine in any style. The only version of SOD I really liked was TVB's 1996 version with Jackie. Fingers crossed that Yu will not butcher the adaptation. I'm super excited to see Wallace as LHC

No I dont think LGX is too old for LHX, LHX is not some one as young as Yang Guo, he is older, wiser and more experience in the Jiang Hu than other Jin Jong's heroes.

Now after all the anxiety, I am also worry about LHX and RYY's look. I hope the costume wont ruin the image in this drama. One thing that is added to the attractiveness of a wuxia drama is the costume and the look.
I actually like LGX's look, I thought his look is quiet logical in the story, somebody who has lost his wife, lives in the dark and in regret for 5 years, no one to take care of him, he doesnt even bother to take care of himself, how can you expect him to look so clean cut well groomed and shaved?

Yup, this is the original LGX look and Wallace ditched it... Really don't look like someone had been going thru a disaster life for 5 years.... but then he put on dark powder again which ruined his skin...

U know what, i think Li Ge Xiao had a similar hairstyle in the first episode of Strange Heroes? I hope the new show's costume designers won't draw inspirations from this lol
