I have a dvd of Dolphin Bay but I haven't seen it until now I can't remember how I got it since I don't know the actors in that series "then". Now that I want to watch it because of Wallace, I can't find it anymore :P

I only got to know Wallace in Dec 2010, after I moved from Shanghai to Shenzhen. If I knew him before then I would have insisted in staying in Shanghai (where Wallace lives)...

yeah... but honestly, I never really liked a hair with streaks of highlights even if its on Wallace. That's why I'm not very excited to watch his old series. And I'm not very fond of idol dramas. I wish he'd make more comedy/mystery series like Tang Lang.

Lol I think that's why I am not keen to watch his old dramas too.. The only one which I went to dig out was Sounds of colors which he starred with Ruby. I think his recent ones are much better. Actually Tang Lang, Strange heroes and Xing ming are similar in the sense that all deal with crime solving and are divided into a few sub-stories within the show. Wallace really like this genre

Yeah I knew him since his Tw actor days but I have never really watched any of his earlier shows. I think I caught bit of Hong Fu nu becoz of him. After that I didn't even know he went to mainland until I saw Xin Yi Jian Mei which rekindled my like of him and I went to search all his other recent shows hee..

It seemed he just "disappeared" from the spotlight after he moved to China. He was so famous in Asia at the time and had tons of fans. The majority of them left him after he moved to China. So if people kept saying How Joe Chen was hurt I think it's Wallace who also got hurt too. He basically had to start all over again as a freshman in China. Anyway, I don't really know their stories to make any comments. But it'll be interesting to see them again in SOD, if that will happen....

in 2004 wallace,joe chen and penny lin come to my country (indonesia) promoted 100% senorita/twins at the time some taiwan artist come to my country (f4,5566,dyland kuo,barbie shu and many more).at the dolphin bay,westside story and twins aired here... F4 and wallace are the most taiwan hottie guys...i'm not wallace's fans so i didn't really attention. but i have a friends who like wallace...and attended meet and greet with wallace,joe and penny at tv station ,she said wallace really handsome...and joe very nice person...very friendly. indonesian dangdut singer inul daratista even teases wallace at the show and most audience come only to saw wallace in real life. At the time wallace very popular and Joe chen is new comer and yes wallace 's fans here greatly reduced after he moved to mainland...and Joe chen become taiwan idol drama queen

I met Wallace in early 2012 (Jan 28th to be exact) and he's damn charming and handsome in person. Very nice and friendly as well. I can't imagine how he looked like back in 2004 - must be drop dead gorgeous.

He moved to China around the age of 24 in 2004, during the peak of his career. A lot of fans left him after his move. But I'm glad that he made the decision and moved to China. I consider him a lucky person (by his own will) that he is able to do what he should be doing at the right time and the right age. Back in the Taiwan days he was an idol. He filmed 7 dramas within 1 year. He was everywhere. Those Taiwanese fans said everyday they turned on the tv, opened the newspapers and magazines, they saw his face. It's was almost like a Wallace year. Now at 32 he is considered as a veteran by most people. He has made a name in the show biz with his positive attitude and acting. He is able to select the dramas he likes. Lin Zhi Cong (director of Ultra Reinforcement) said Wallace received dozen of scripts everyday and he was so thankful that Wallace decided to help him out with only a modest commission. Wallace isn't an ambitious person (sometimes I wish he should be a bit more ambitious) and he simply enjoys acting to stay in the show biz.
