anyway, I just finished watching Detective Tang Lang. It took me a couple of days to gather the courage to watch Ep 29-30. And everytime I thought I'm ready, viki would act up

It's like almost "zero" sweet, romantic moments (okay fine, maybe about 5% :P )
and our hero only got a peck on the cheek after 30 episodes of runnning around, helping people??!!

Yeah I just checked DMY 's thread and it is indeed Shige there. Think I got that info from this thread? I rem someone saying now Hg's fans are feeling what Huomis felt earlier, about their idol bring casted as second lead if he acts as Meng jiu, so Huge decided not to do so, something like that

In fact HG originally wanted to play MJ but his fans bombarded Karen and finally Karen pursued HG to play HQB. If I were HG I would also opt for MJ as HQB's character of a general is no new to him. He played a general for many times and he needs a break through.

But I was just speculating as to why it didn't get a lot of viewers/fans/attention.

EDIT: I like Zhang Meng because of The Myth but in this one, her acting isn't that good. It would have been better if Huang Que is played by.. uhm, Tang Yan maybe hihi

How is the viewer ship rating? I guess a sequel be warranted only if the ratings are good. I am roping for a Strangd heroes sequel

I think it was a CCTV drama? Younger people normally don't watch CCTV's dramas. And older people probably don't like this drama because of two many smoking scenes. But after knowing Wallace most of the people think this series is quite good.

CNTV is China Network Television and CCTV is China Central Television. I think CCTV is the name of the channels for CNTV. But basically they are the same.

Me too, I'm opting for a sequel for both dramas. But if it's Strange Hero I hope Wallace won't put on the dark powder this time.

Nope, still no news yet. Wallace's best friends are very supportive of him. They know he doesn't have a weibo and his fans generally want to get more news about him and so they sometimes here and there leaking his pictures on weibo. But generally people in Shanghai can track him down anyway when he's out. Sometimes different people spotted him in different times during the day and so we ended up knowing his trail for the whole day. It's definitely not easy for him to find a gf as not too many girls want to live under the limelight life style. And for those girls who prefer this life style they don't meet Wallace's "preference". What's a dilemma.
