Well people are expressing their views on weibos and forums but pretending they are Wallace. Like this guy/gal here who has claimed he/she is Wallace. I find it amazing although people know it's not Wallace but still leave messages to him. Fans jumped over 50 thousands shortly the weibo was created!

Thanks for checking out my fanfic, Luanee. Yes, sometimes the overwhelming number of characters drives me nuts, too. I think many many years ago when I started this story, I was too enthusiastic and ambitious and wanted to include every one of my beloved celebrities into my story without careful planning. Hence, there is an overabundance of characters. If I were to start a new story now, I would definitely limit the number of characters. The good news, however, is that many characters in that list are mainly peripheral players. There are only a handful of characters who are main players, so that once you start reading and familiarize yourself with the cast, you won't get confused.

Here is a short synopsis. I don't want to be too detailed, or else there will be no surprises for you, if you decide to read.

The story revolves around four Lam siblings who somehow become embroiled in the mystery of two legendary swords called the Swords of Sun and Moon. In their adventures, they meet an assortment of people, some friends, some foes. There is also another story running parallel to the main story about the previous owners of the Swords of Sun and Moon, known as the Guardian and the Seer. This past story is fed to the readers as snippets/stories told by some of the characters or as dream sequences.

Really, it's not as confusing as it sounds once you start reading. I will refrain from making a flow chart of the characters' relationships to each other. I think it's more fun to guess who will end up with whom as you read, rather than have some chart point everything out with spoilers.

Now...for the parts on Wallace Chung, Wallace Huo, Sun Fei Fei, and Chen Hao (chapters 83-88). Originally, this was suppose to be a short flashback story about the parents of the Guardian, the origin of the Swords of Sun and Moon, and a martial arts technique mentioned in the main story called the Blood Shadow Palm. However, this side story has spiraled into something much more elaborate than I originally had intended. Therefore, with advice from tweety and some prodding from charbydis, I have made a decision take these chapters out of the main story and expand the flashback story into a complete story of its own, a prequel to Legendary Book of Sun-Moon Swordplay. That way, I can concentrate on developing the story on the two Wallaces, SFF, and Chen Hao without taking too much time away from the main story. I am currently in the process of revising chapters 83-88 to weave them into the prequel. From now on, I will be writing both stories (the prequel and the original story) simultaneously. Hopefully, this will not be too challenging.

Anyway, if you have time, try a few chapters and let me know what you think. If it sucks, just stop.




Ok, now back to the topic of Wallace Huo... I have actually stopped watching QSHF at episode 28 on youku.com. Of all the characters in the drama, I like Wallace's Lian Cheng the most, mainly for his undying love for a woman who doesn't even return his affection. His devotion is sad but rather touching. Unfortunately, that's about the only positive point I can think of in the drama, in my opinion. There is almost zero emphasis on anything else. I was actually expecting some action involving brilliant military strategists trying to outmaneuver each other on the battlefield. But sadly, this apparently wasn't a main priority in the drama. In fact, the whole story is based on a bunch of love triangles or rectangles. Now, I'm a romantic person, who loves well scripted romances in a drama, but there must be other plot lines, too, other than love and bunch of bickering women and men. Anyway, I've decided to take a break from the drama. Maybe when I am more lenient and in a better mood, I'll resume watching. I realize I am being quite harsh and critical, but nowadays, I have no patience for one-dimensional dramas. If the drama is to be based on one theme only (love), then it should be short and sweet, rather than long and draggy.

How did you manage to find all those videos with our hot guys in them?

I think the story is rather weak as well. The novel is actually better which focuses more on the strategic schemes adapted by various parties to fight for powers.
