I started writing my story about 8 years ago. Back then, I didn't even know who Wallace Chung was. Not until about 1-2 years ago did I discover Wallace Chung after watching a really well made MV of him with scenes from Ni Shui Han. After that, I searched around and figured out the name of the drama (Ni Shui Han) and became his zealous fan after seeing him as the sexy and evil villain in that drama. By the time I fell in love with Wallace Chung, I had already written about 80 chapters of my story. That is why he only appears in Chapter 83 and onward. I added Wallace Huo into my story after seeing some awesome MVs of him and felt that his handsomeness and heroic looks were worthy enough to play Wallace Chung's love rival in my story. Plus, my loyal reader, tweety, seems to love Wallace Huo, so why not add him in for tweety's benefit?

I don't know if you know this yet, but I'll be cutting out the flashback story containing Wallace Chung and Wallace Huo (starting from chapter 83 onward) and extending it into a prequel for Legendary Book. I'll be posting the new link to the prequel story in a few days. If you have time, please give it a try. Thank you.

I read about that from the latest posts in your thread. I think it's more interesting to read your work as you write it. I'm still reading your book whenever I have time. Frankly speaking I think it's quite good. Considering someone educating overseas writing Wuxia story is never an easy task! I really admire your courage for that...

Thanks for your compliments. For me, the most difficult scenes to write are the fighting scenes. I never know if I am describing the martial arts sequences clearly for the reader to understand. On TV, the martial arts scenes are always so thrilling to watch, but on paper, it's hard to make these scenes appear exciting. The wuxia genre is so innately Chinese that it's hard to convey a "wuxia" feel in the story while writing in English. Not many readers want to read wuxia stories in English these days, so I thank you for giving my story a chance.

Since I started Legendary Book 8 years ago, my writing style has changed over the years. Therefore, the later chapters may be vastly different and hopefully better than the earlier chapters. I will now be writing both the prequel story and the original Legendary Book story simultaneously. I hope to post the link to the prequel story soon.
