Yes, his hair is actually still quite long but his hair dresser just waxed it all up. I used to wanting to see him more in public but this is the only time I want him disappearing for a long while to rejuvenize himself. He is just too skinny. His clothes are actually quite loose (plus the grey and blue colors) to make him look a bit more stocky. Those people saw him at the airport said his legs are slimmer than most girls!

And... how did he manage 7 dramas in 1 year?

I saw one of his earlier interviews. He said he was new in the show biz and didn't even realize that he ended up appearing in 7 dramas within 1 year! At the beginning he could not effort to have an assistant and have to drive between shows on motorbike all by himself. Later on he could finance a car but still he drove it himself. On several occasions he almost got into accidents because he only had about 2-3 hours of sleep everyday. He's the only one who holds the record of 7 dramas in one year!

At first glance, I couldn't accept his new look. But the more I look at the pics, I find his vintage look is actually quite nice. It almost has this "old Shanghai Tang" era or back to the 50's western movies feel. That hair style and outfits just blend in well together. A thump up for this!

I think his vintage look is fine. Quite mature and appealing. It shows a different side of Wallace. This kind of look has more potential in playing big shows.

It's amazing I always find his look keeps changing. Whether in XSKJB, SMXY, QSHF, Strange Hero or CP3, his look seemed to change with the roles he played!

Now that you have reminded me. Yes, I think his looks did change based on the characters he played. I've read some comments about Wallace from an acting teacher. She said most actors unconsciously applied their own personalities into the roles they played, only fews totally embedded themselves into the roles they played, and Wallace is one of the latter. She interpreted how Wallace embraced the female leads differently from each role. Even his walks are different from each role. It's quite interesting.

Damn, I am quite sick of the producers of Xing Ming Shi Ye. What are they trying to do? Making Wallace no 2 or even no 3 in this drama because he hasn't opened a weibo as requested by them as well as trying to pretend developing a bromance with Nicky to help them to promote their games? Wallace is a low profile actor who wants his characters to speak for him. Poor Wallace didn't say anything about this but he is losing weight without a reason. I believe that tear drop when he got a bit drunk was real (if it was). He has been under extreme pressure lately.

Wallace turned away many invitations for this XMSY. He liked the scripts very much at first. But after he signed the contract with them, the producers announced they would add 1 more male lead making it a double male leads. Since then, they changed the scripts 4 times and made Wallace no 2 lead. From their promotional events and interviews, they made him a follower. When demanded by Ho mis for answers, Gu Zi Ying said Wallace wants to change the scripts, Wallace doesn't mind to be no 2, Wallace involves in the design of the costumes... the producers just want to blame everything on him! Wallace doesn't have a strong company to back him up. He's on his own. How awful these people are to put the blames on someone who's only wish is to become a good actor! If all they want is to promote the drama and all those video games following this drama by gossips, they should have gone for someone else! They are up to no good. They thought they could create another JingQing phenomenon for their game promotion at the expenses of the actors?

I understand that Huo mis are trying to liaise with the producers. Although Wallace has been silent, but it doesn't mean people who love him are silent.

I'm 100% supportive of his vintage look in that press event although it made him looks older and conservative. I think he is quite clever not to dress in fancy clothes which might lead to a bromance appearance!

Ichiban, I'm glad that you brought this up. The producers are holding my neck that I'm about to kill someone!

During the press event yesterday, some huo mis were crying. In the promotional pamphlet they only introduced Nicky and no one else! I'm not trying to offend Nicky fans here as he himself is a great actor and deserves this, but I think the producers should be considerate of an actor who has trust and confidence in them by turning away other invitations and signing a contract with them. The are making the medias believe that Wallace can only be a no 2 in dramas.

QSHF is an exception. From the beginning everyone knew that Wallace would only be special appearance in the drama. But at the beginning the producers of SMSY made him to believe he's the only male lead. Then they started to sign up Nicky and changed the scripts 4 times (still keep on changing now). They then announced there would be 2 male leads in the drama and named the drama "Sensation Double Dragon". And then later on they made Nicky the lead in this drama.

Hou mis started to post on Gu's weibo asking for answers. After thousands of posts, Gu replied Wallace was happy at the set and that he was responsible for designing his image in the drama. She went on and said Hou mis are "low quality" bunch of people. She then erased all the related posts (including hers) from her weibo! If a person who appreciates an actor, she should appreciate her fans. This only shows that Gu does not appreciate Wallace at all.

Gu organized a XMSY fan club to update the related news on weibo. This fan club comprises entire Nicky's fans and a few people from Gu's studio. At first they only posted some ugly pics of Wallace. Those pics took by Wallace fans or even some Nicky's and other fans are better. After Gu erased her posts, she started to post some nice pics of Wallace in attempt to smooth the tension.

Why are these evil people doing something to a person without a strong background! It's just because this actor only wants to focus on acting rather than the gossips they have planned to create! I do hope that Wallace will finish the set asap and get out.

But we can't keep our silence anymore! My understanding is that some Huo mis are planning to launch an attack starting at 10am tomorrow... We are writing on a weibo to support them. Good luck!

I think the producers have gone too far this time. This is not about who is the male lead. It's more about why are they destroying the trust of a person. Wallace put his trust and confidence in them by signing in their drama and he deserves the same in return. I understand why huo mis are angry. The producers just try to cover up and put all the blames on Wallace.
