war and beauty all the way, man! i cried for every part i see bowie and gigi together. even now my heart still aches when i see them. healing hand 1 made me cry when bowie gave up his life for his dead girlfriend's sister and before he fainted he saw her....................
healing hand 2 when flora left because of bowie's affair. fight for love when sonja left bowie so he could be with this other girl and bowie waited for 2 years and each day he would call her................
i still remember this quote i translated,"i wonder if you still remember me? perhaps you still do or perhaps you have forgotten but i never will"
    ahhhhhhhhh, the pain.....
i also cried when virtues ended it wasn't because someone died or anything it's just because the two series became a daily life basis to see them and to watch in laughters at their performance.........i guess l loved the warm feeling you know?
ummmm, the event when bowie found out his wife was a murderer (the script was pretty lame though)
kung fu soccer when that girl that worked for dicky's sister (and was dicky's lover) left i couldn't help but cry as he buried that recorder she gave him.................
misleading track when bowie found out his wife cheated on him and his daughter was not really his.................
and some other series which usually involves some tragic love or deaths.............
no matter how many years it has been no matter how many things have changed my heart to you have never changed, chi

    - Burning Flame 2 (2002) - Wong Hei's death - when his daughter yiu yiu was crying
    - Square Pegs (2003) - When Roger was trying to make the candles stay lit, and that Jessica won't come to see him.
    - Seven Sisters - When Charmaine died at the end, and how she refused to take all the medicine.
    that was all very sad

I cried a whole lot while watching War and Beauty, especially the Maggie scences, with her grandmother, her tales, when she had to bring the poison to the maid to drink, when she died on Moses' shoulder at the end, etc.

Gigi's parts too, towards the end when she was telling how she wanted to protect her mother only. And Sheren's part when she lost her baby. I didn't cry for Charmaine's character though.

Return of the Cuckoo, when Man Chor tried to speak to talk to his real mother but she ignored him instead. And she slapped him or something like that . . couldn't quite remember but I cried quite a lot during that show too.

Burning Flame II when Wong Hei's daughter was crying in her room at night after his death, and her uncle came in to see her.

The Awakening Story, can't quite remember which part exactly but it certainly has to do with a scene concerning Liza and Maggie.

Square Pegs, when Roger lit up all the candles and made his cookie for his wife at night in the forest and she didn't show up face to face with him. Then it started to rain, his cookie fell down and scattered into pieces and Roger started to whine and cry. That was really touching.

Haha Im an emotionally person, had cried through a lot of series...but the one that made me cried the most was the scene in Instinct when Ekin was trying to put the wedding ring on Nnadia's burned and wrapped fingers. Despite of watching that part like 249204 times, I still cry when watching that part again. It was such a sad and tragic scene

i don't cry that easily for tvb series, but these few shows really jerk tears as mentioned by many here.

    1. Greed of man - old show, but if i rewatch i know i will still cry at many parts, esp lau chong yan's struggling to tie shoe laces and begging to get the newspaper folding job.

    2. belle's grief over vincent in triumph in the skies.

    3. lee sir's death in Academy. ( i was crying and my friend called me at the same time, so embarrassing.)

    4. i didn't cry over mok sir's death in to catch the uncatchable, but i was speechless and traumatised. (i am dayo's fan)

so far the show that makes me cry most was not tvb, but "ghost husband" from qiong yao, taiwanese show. and a few old japanese drama.

As for me, i watched alot of Tvb shows that are very sad but i can successfully hold back my tears though u can say that it is not a very gd feeling, with a lump in ur throat, heart aching... except for one show- the academy when lee sir died... actually i onli cried at the part when the rest of the cadets were cryin together e.g when the girls saw the report from the tv, on the marching ground, all of the PTS singing the song (what's the title?!!!).. somehow, sammul is unable to affect me...
I love the golden 80s period of TVB!!!

In When Rules Turn Loose, when Myolie's dad died and Liza returns alone and breaks the news to everyone. That part was sooo sad, because everyone was crying. The entire last episode of WRTL was great

I found many scenes in golden faith that made me cry--like when gallen finally admitted to his uncle that he is his nephew, when his foster dad died..

I just think this movied called for a lot of emotional scenes that was very courageous--gallen lo acted so well in this series..

ROCH83 and RPCH95 touched me really much. Idy's, Andy's, and Carman's acting touched me lot, I even cried when seeing it.
