His Christmas photo shoot...
Whoa , I love HD quality pics! Thanks for spamming so many Kev's pics, LXX .
I was just reading a Chinese magazine article picked up in Shanghai about Kevin which reported he has rekindled his romance with Charmaine Sheh. It claims they broke up in 2009 as his career was way behind hers. Then it talked about his career progression as a "late bloomer" - how in the mid 1990s, he won the TVB New Talent contest (I suppose this is like American Idol) and got a recording deal with Polygram. But his debut album in HK wasn't well received. He then tried to break into the pop music scene in Taiwan for a couple of years with little success and had to live hand to mouth with support from his mother. But he did get noticed by Li Guo Li. He actually wasn't keen on going into acting, but accepted the role in Legendary Siblings in 1999 to pay the bills.
Legendary Siblings enjoyed modest success on Taiwan's CTV and enough for TVB to notice him and offer him an acting contract. He accepted the TVB contract as he decided to throw in the towel on his singing career in Taiwan. But he did admit he didn't have great work attitude in the early days of his TVB career, as acting wasn't his first love (singing was his passion), but TVB wanted him to act and not sing. Hence in his TVB early days, he was widely criticized for his wooden acting.
But he learned to love the acting profession as he starred in more TVB series up to his breakthrough role in Last Man Standing. Ghetto Justice and BBJX are considered now by critics as a "coming of age" for him as an actor and of course, these series brought him both industry/critical respect and huge widespread popularity. He joked that it took him 12 years to master the art of acting!
Late bloomer indeed!
Will scan the article when I have the time...

Better late then never!!! LOL...
Seriously? He's gone back to Charmaine?
