i'm sure some beggar clan members were married, at least the "regular clothing sect". H7G seemed to be too much of a wanderer to be tied down to wife and kids - he didn't even want to be tied down to having disciples for more than three days at a time.

I think there was. Amongst the four greats, who did you guys think had the most emotions? He traveled widely and I don't think it is too stretched that he met someone along his adventures. As for being a beggar, he was the head of the biggest clan in the wulin.
