Hi, I thought I was the only one who thought it was well done. Yeah, I'm puzzled too, that some of the 'older' artistes are in there. The newer ones include Huang Shiyu, Felicia Chin, Wang Hui. Etc etc... but it's good that MCS is making an effort to promote their rising starlets, rather than stick to the veterans, like a certain foreign TV broadcasting company. It's how outstanding newcomers rise to become veterans in the first place.

In the process though, I hope they don't neglect the supporting actors. No serial is good without a good supporting cast. They might not be shining stars, but without them, the serial will almost certainly be crap.

I kinda wonder why Mediacorp website's celeb data section is so limited. Why do they make it so difficult to search for their artistses' biodata and flimography.

Ah, but Mediaworks have far fewer artistes. It's pretty easy to name them all.

Mediacorp should have at least have a simple webpage for each of their artistes with pictures. The one they have now is too fanciful, limited and thus not very useful.

True, but I expected more. When I went there all I saw was a schedule. Then why waste webspace if all you wanna put in is a schedule and some other chunk of words?

MCS one, is yeh, very limited, I agree. But then again if it's too lengthy it'd be a collection of fanpages.

Mediaworks website is hopeless. Lost cause there.

For Mediacorp, I just wish they can come out with something like www.imdb.com or www.tvtome.com .

Just simple text pages that lists down all the cast and crew behind each production and individual pages for each person with a picture. The can have those fanciful flash microsites for promotion purposes but have something functional and useful for people like us.

Like, let's say we want to discuss Kate Beckinsale. I can provide the link to imdb

    Kate Beckinsale

You can't do that with flash sites.
